This was a revelation - I've never had food like this before. Lots of individual items all deep-fried on a skewer in tempura batter. Nicely cooked, and very tasty. My wife is vegetarian, and they presented her with excellent veggie alternatives. Each item was described for us - our guide added extra explanations where necessary. Highly recommended!

One of our favorite restaurants in Ginza serving this Japanese speciality which is little skewers where the chef fries all kind of things in front of your eyes. Very tasty and light because they use good oil and very fine breading.

I'll be back for more, this is a very friendly and welcoming restaurant in the bustling Ginza. Staff were very friendly and ever so attentive and helpful. Each dish was presented with an English explanation, Prawn,Scallop,Potato,Asparagus,Mushroom, Pumpkin etc. This is a very resonably priced restaurant and as stated elsewhere if you go for dinner it will be at least double... Fantastic quality Kusiage! The best I've had! Been here 3 times over the last 15 years and the quality is as good as the first time I went which says an awful lot! One of my favourite restaurants in Japan! FANTASTIC!!

... also for Gaijins :-) Second visit here, both times very satisfied. At lunch time it's very reasonable priced (900¥-2,500¥ per person), for dinner you should bring double++ Anyway, it's worth to go there.
