Can't deny the tempura is tasty. For me it isn't worth the price tag for a simple lunch. Most high end tempura restaurants appear to be priced similarly. I might try a less well known one toencounter fewer tourists....then again, I probably will won't go on my own dime again.

A very good place, very elegant and very very tasty tempura. The staff are super friendly and helpful. great choice of local saki as well. The tempura was perfect, a variety of both seafood and vegetables and good side dishes to go with it such an noodles as well. You leave the place without smelling of the all the frying... More

Absolutely delish, all the tempura served was amazing - crisp yet succulent and the batter didn't take away the flavors of the star, be it the prawns, scallops, vegetables, etc The chef will prepare each item fresh for your consumption, so everything is lightly crisp and warm, ready to be experienced. Two set menus on offer that makes it easier... More

I chanced upon this restaurant after doing some shopping around Ginza and decided to give it a try. It was mid-afternoon when my friend and I went in for lunch, so the restaurant was pretty much empty. The staff at the coat-check counter were friendly, albeit in a more professional way rather than with warmth — not that it is... More

Came with friends for dinner at this hyped restaurant. Centrally located in Ginza, it was not crowded and had warm atmosphere. We sat by the counter where the chef prepared the tempura dish and served it one at a time. Everything we ordered was delicious although quite pricey. To our surprise, the priciest of all was the melon desert, which... More

The tempura batter was not terribly crispy. I suppose it might be a particular style but I didn't love it. This was sort of soft and almost granular, the texture of fried superfine sugar, perhaps. The amount of food you're served is scant. One scallop. One mushroom. Two shrimp. One asparagus spear. Little more. It was hard to believe it... More

Was last night in Tokyo and had not checked the tempura box. Was rated very high and recommended by the hotel. Anytime you walk into a restaurant and see pictures of presidents and singers you know it will be expensive, but the tempura did not disappoint. We did the set menu Sakura which was the middle of road selection and... More

Had lunch for 6 pax, 2 children, had 3 set meals and 3 tempura bowl. I was expecting an over the top tempura experience which I did not get. Tempura was OK, a bit soggy when served to us. The prawns were quite small. We were not seated at the counter as they don't allow parties that order the tempura... More

Had the set tempura dinner at the Ginza restaurant. Tempura was fresh and most importantly, does not taste or look oily. Really great skill. Had many famous personality dined at this restauarant.

Four of us ate here. I suppose I am not a connoisseur of tempura, I simply enjoy it very much. This was the freshest, tastiest tempura I had ever eaten. It was quite simply delicious, well presented, and consumed with enthusiasm. With a beer it made a reasonable and delicious lunch.
