It was well worth the wait! I stood in line for about an hour (arrived 1/2 hour before opening) on a Sunday afternoon. After all the tables were filled I got a number 11 in the queue. The was was about 1/2 an hour from that point. The wait staff was very attentive and efficient as you would expect from... More

You cannot book and you'll have to queue but it will be for a good reason: the sushi here is amazing!!!! We had different tuna pieces and the quality of the fish was astonishing!!!! Also, the service is really good and they have a good value for money. Highly recommended

Went to Midori Sushi Ginza with my family (including 9 month old infant) for lunch. We arrived early at 10.15am and there was already a queue of 10 people ahead of us. By the time the restaurant opened at 11am, there were almost 40 people in queue. We ordered the Sushi sets which were affordable (they come in 2 tiers:... More

Got to Ginza early, and began lining up around 10:45. Already a line outside but once they opened around 11, we didn't have to wait too long to go in. Dishes were fresh, substantial portions for a decent price and tasted delicious. Will definitely return!

Food and service are great. Menus are in english and have realistic pictures. Service is great. All pieces and rolls were excellent , try the avocado, mas ago, and crabmeat roll. Only handicap is the huge wait at 1 I waited for 90 minutes and was just me. Plan to do something else in Ginza which I did to bare... More

Our annual visit to Tokyo never missed a visit to Midori Sushi restaurant. Unfortunately this year, the Shibuya outlet was closed for renovation (Notice states April to June), we had no other choice but to head down to the Ginza outlet although not as convenient as Shibuya (building is next to Shibuya station), it was about 10 mins walk from... This is the only place that my husband will patiently wait for 2 hours plus to get into as he just loves the food and I must agree, it is super super yummy. We usually get our ticket and trot down the street to the corner Starbucks for a nice hot coffee and sweet to keep us going until our... More

What a wonderful restaurant! Families, couples, groups of friends, and a few tourists come here to enjoy the very good quality fish at an affordable price. We spent 3500 Yen per person for a huge lunch including drinks. Yes, there is a line. You take a numbered ticket from the vending machine at the door, stating if you want to... More

Yes, sure there are better sushi restaurant and better ambience and shorter lines but for quality and value, you cannot beat this "institution" Look at the locals including old Japanese ladies queuing and you get the picture. This is not just for tourists!
