This restaurant will satisfy sushi lovers. I am actually not sure about its price/performance ratio, but what is not expensive in Japan? I recommend it to those looking for a quality sushi place.

So, I'll start this review off by saying that my wife and I really liked the food here, we just weren't sure it was worth the considerable more that Mizutani charges vs plenty of other high end sushi restaurants in Tokyo. Also, get pictures of...More

I was very surprised to see some travelers were taking pictures at the counter while the Master Mizutani was preparing to serve his SUSHI. DON'T TAKE PICTURES!!! at this kind of restaurant. If you really want a picture, take it after everyone has finished the...More

Let me start by stating that if you are not a connoisseur of sushi or if you typically eat sushi at low end restaurants, you will probably be disappointed First, scoring a reservation is tough but if you are nice to your concierge they might...More

Purest of the sushi places we visited. Every course was absolutely flawless and this is classic sushi and classic sashimi. No twists or garnishes (not that I don't like those when done right and with a light touch) and great to see how classic simplicity,...More

Mizutani. It would be my first two Michelin star rated restaurant and first sushi bar in Tokyo. I was ecstatic at the opportunity to eat from one of the world's best sushi masters. As a foodie, I was ready for my mind to be completely...More

This was the first top-class Edomae sushi meal I ate, and it forever changed me. Unlike at Sukiyabashi Jiro where you can expect 20 nigiri pieces, or Sawada where you can expect even more for the lesser(!) omakase, this meal goes for quality more than...More

Ginza / Tokyo Nihonbashi
Ginza is famous for being a trendy hotspot, but it's
also a downtown area with shops that were founded over
a hundred years ago. Department stores and luxury
boutiques line the route from Nihonbashi to Ginza.
It's a long established tradition to shop and stroll
while the road is closed to traffic. Luxury hotels,
world class cuisine from talented chefs, and a
collection of glitzy clubs will make this area popular
