Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Located in the Hotel Metropolitan Edmont, on the ground floor, right outside the Beltempo restaurant. Small shop, but they do offer a nice selection of baked products. They also serve organic coffee (hot or iced). I was expecting their prices to be on the higher...side because of their location, but they were pretty reasonable. And their coffees are cheaper than the Starbucks across the way. There are some tables outside to sit and enjoy your treats.More

Stayed at the hotel and I don't disrespect a place by ignoring its bakery; so off to Edo Bakery I went for breakfast. I got a teriyaki chicken sandwich for my husband and a cream cheese pastry for myself and it was just divine and...have come to hunt me since. Just like what everyone said here, for a hotel bakery, their pastries are reasonably priced. Just a warning though, you can't eat them in the adjoining restaurant without ordering anything from the restaurant, so my husband ended up getting a cup of coffee which clocks in at (gasp) 800Y (about USD 8). So my suggestion, buy from the bakery and eat it at the tables outside and enjoy the view then buy your coffee from the 24 hour minimart or starbucks nearby. My husband told me if I enjoyed the cheese cake pastry so much, why don't I buy more, I refused because I can't really have too much of a good thing. I felt guilty! haha. And there's just so much good food in Japan, I can't just eat one thing.More

The Edo bakery is the takeout section of the hotel restaurant in the Metropolitan Edmont. While the restaurant is expensive, the bakery takeouts are delicious and inexpensive. Try some of the refrigerated cake selections, or their excellent "French Toast."

I stayed at the hotel for a few nights and wanted to have a breakfast at the bakery. I testés the "pain aux raisins" and the " brioche à la crème ". It was nicely executed and I think it's one of the best bakeries...I've tested while travelling !!!!More

Yotsuya / Iidabashi
Yotsuya and Iidabashi are areas that developed around
the outer moat of the Imperial palace. Nearby in
Kagurazaka, there is an old red-light district with a
photogenic feel evocative of the ambiance of old
Tokyo. Narrow paths with stone paving remain to this
day, and there are long-standing restaurants with
geishas and quaint old cafes in townhouse buildings.
