This is some good ramen for an inexpensive price. I guess I got lucky, but I went on a Monday night at 530 and it only took about 15 minutes to get in. Definitely fish-based broth, but super tasty and filling.

Dipping thick noodles with rich soup, worth to try but long queue always there. Another shop is located at the skytree.

The Tokyo ramen street is located at the Tokyo station, and in reality, consists of ten ramen restaurants. The one on the corner, which has the longest line to it, is the most well-known. I visited Shio Ramen Senmon Hirugao, which I thought was good....More

I wasn't a ramen fan but the stuff they serve here is great tasting... thick broth, full flavoured, nice ramen noodles... will be a fixture in our itinerary from now.

As Americans with limited choices back home, my teenage daughter and I were interested in trying different types of Ramen while travelling through Japan, so came here on our last night before heading home at about 9 pm to try a tsukemen style. The location...More

This was where I had dinner my first night in Tokyo - I was wandering around the restaurants in (and under) Tokyo station, and this place had the biggest line up. That seemed like it was worth giving it a try. It was very good,...More

This was an epic fail on our behalf. We waited an hour in line to eat here as It was rated among the top in Tokyo for ramen. I should have done a little more research before we went. My husband and I don't eat...More

We went at 4pm so 'only' had to wait 45 minutes. We had better tsukemen at Setagaya at Haneda airport. The other reviewers have summarised this joint.

This was one of the first places my boyfriend and I ate during our trip to Tokyo. I think this is why we had such a hard time finding it - we just weren't used to navigating the city quite yet (it is UNDERGROUND, this...More

People wait a long time to get into this small restaurant in the basement of Tokyo station. The experience was unique being that you need to order from a machine. The food was good but nothing great. I have definitely had better ramen in Tokyo.

Ginza / Tokyo Nihonbashi
Ginza is famous for being a trendy hotspot, but it's
also a downtown area with shops that were founded over
a hundred years ago. Department stores and luxury
boutiques line the route from Nihonbashi to Ginza.
It's a long established tradition to shop and stroll
while the road is closed to traffic. Luxury hotels,
world class cuisine from talented chefs, and a
collection of glitzy clubs will make this area popular

hi Piti, was there a huge line at 730am?

Response from RavenKnit | Reviewed this property |
You'll get people queuing up BEFORE it opens. Kinda depends on you definition of huge - it's nowhere as bad as say lining up for Michelin 3 stars ramen, but depending on your luck you could be in line for 45 minutes or so.
do you have gluten free soba?

I don't think so. Most of the restaurants in Japan have been using the same ingredients for many years/decades. Gluten-free is more of a Western countries fad unless you have Celiac Disease. You might be able to find... More

Hi, I'm not sure if they serve tonkotsu ramen. Rokurinsha is known for its tsukemen, or dipping noodles. Based on my research the following restuarants in Tokyo Ramen Street offers Tonkotsu Ramen: Oreshiki Jun and Ikaruga... More
