Enjoyed a business dinner at the teppanyaki space - careful preparation from welcoming chef and tasty dishes all. Always love the solid round piece of ice here - practical plus looks great.

A highly polished experience in fine Japanese dining with an impeccable view of the on ground Japanese gardens of Chinzanso. A great place for a quiet lunch or dinner away from the hustle and bustle that is Tokyo central. By the way, the food was impeccable. Service second to none as well. Will highly recommend this restaurant.

Service is superb. The food at the 50 different items at dinner time is beyond description. Try them all if you have a 2nd stomach. My wife ordered ala carte but the server and cook which presented the soup ( eggplant and Unon ) served her even though she did not order from the fixed menu, which was something you... More

Traditional set with nicely cooked salmon crispy skin, miso soup and condiments for rice. A complete meal (small serve) best enjoyed if you know the best combination of the condiments and how to use them for best taste. Green tea included...coffee is extra for the other palate.

My point of reference was Yanagi Sushi, which was better in every respect and for 1/4 (literally) the cost! At Miyuki, the service was very slow despite being relatively empty. I ordered a la carte and (attempted) to ask the chef to provide me with his choice. He gave me 7 pieces of tuna(!?!). He was unengaged with with guests... More

Its Japanese style breakfast cost 3,000 yen. It is excellent. It has a sushi bar within the restaurant. For about 6,000 yen, one can have a buffet style dinner - good quality and potion. The restaurant overlooks Chinzanso's famous garden.

I've only had breakfast in the restaurant, although I've also ordered room service from it in the past. It prepares Japanese dishes from the freshest ingredients and yes it's expensive at JPY3,000 for rice, soup, grilled fish, pickles, vegetables and dumplings, tofu, salad, fruit juice and unlimited green tea, but the presentation and flavours are worth every yen. And a... More

My partner and I enjoyed two breakfasts here this week, and we found Miyuki to be impeccable in quality, presentation and service.

Neighbourhood Profile
Ikebukuro is an area of massive development. Several thousand tenants occupy two giant department stores and shopping malls, where all sorts of shopping and gourmet foods can be enjoyed. The 60-story building at the east entrance of the station, Sunshine City, is a landmark within Ikebukuro and features an aquarium, planetarium, theme park as well as an observation platform. The popular name for the western side of this area is "Otome Road" (Maiden Road) and there are many shops selling products related to anime with a female theme. It has rapidly become the worldwide headquarters for ‘otaku’ or geek culture.
