It was fun to see how coffee is produced. The guide was very knowledgeable. Walk-in for our group was accepted. Tour ended with a cup of coffee and a cookie plus opportunity to purchase coffee.

I'd heard about the coffee in this farm from so many of my friends at the lake that I had to try it myself. We took a tuc tuc from San Pedro to San Juan and got to enjoy a hot, delicious cup of coffee while talking coffee with Lucas who was such a great host. They sell their coffee... More

Andres, the director, and La Voz staff are good people to work with. As the director of a medical clinic in town, we take visiting groups to La Voz for the Coffee Tour they do year round...and this year we worked a deal in which we can actually go and pick coffee for 2-3 hours and learn first hand just... Coffee farmers normally earn very little compared to processors, roasters and distributors. This cooperative is the result of the community organizing to command fair rates for small producers. The tour is very interesting and there's a lovely cafe where you can try the delicious coffee.

This is a wonderful cooperative that must be seen when in San Juan! We decided to take the 1.5 hour tour and we highly recommend it. You see the coffee-making process from beginning to end and then you have a cup of their wonderful coffee. I do not even like coffee but thought that the espresso was wonderful. Please don't... Stumbled upon this quiet place in search of coffee burlap sacks. Great coffee co-op where you can take a tour (we didn't) or just sit on the indoor/outdoor patio and enjoy a cup of coffee and a pastry while taking in the view of La Nariz (mountain). Beautiful little garden surrounding the patio. Take a tuk-tuk to arrive here from... More

I would list this as an attraction, not restaurant - we were looking for a coffee tour that was authentic, and geared towards locals, not a high priced one geared at tourists, and this was perfect. Price was reasonable, Q65 for a 1.5 hour tour - children are free. We came during Semana Santa and they called a guide in... More

I took the tour, and saw the whole process of how the coffee is made. Please, buy Fair Trade coffee. It's worth the labor behind the cup, and the workers deserve to be paid for their work- not to be used as chattel. I enjoyed my coffee. It's one of those things that I'm glad I got to do, but... Great coffee. Nice tour (Spanish only). Purchase and bring home as many beans as you can carry. Delish!

This is the only coffee cooperative in San Juan. The cafe is located near the San Pablo end of San Juan. They also offer a coffee tour. I had the best cappuccino there!
