Hello. I have had a chat with the people working on Sunday and if I understand correctly you were a large party of about 20 people. Overall we felt we had a fabulous Mother's Day in the restaurant with a lovely atmosphere and good food....More

Thank you to Banners House for a lovely meal last night. It can't be easy dealing with a party 14 but everyone had a delicious meal and the service was good. Thanks to all the staff for your hard work and the special touch of...More

Fantastic, staff, good and atmosphere. Well worth a visit or two. Rocked in one night to find the place packed. They managed to find a table for two on a Saturday night without having booked in advance. A big well done.

We had lunch here before checking into our hotel which was nearby. The food was lovely - nicely presented with generous helpings (we had the jerk chicken and the BLT). A nice choice of draft beers too (including a couple of Czech lagers). We were...More

Nice place, nice menu and food good. But - and it’s a big but - the waiting staff are not very interested, verging on rude. One younger girl with a bad smell under her nose who didn’t smile once and an older woman clearly harassed...More

Can't fault the food which was as usual really good but sadly the service didn't match. The waitresses were very inattentive, didn't smile much and we felt almost a burden for being there. We were a large table with 3 young children. Not once did...More

I had lunch here, which was good and a no bad price- around £8.00 for a fancy beef sandwich. When I went back for dinner I was really disappointed. £15.00 for a main meal is pretty expensive for round this area. Especially when what you...More
