The food was good and the service was excellent. The menu is quite varied and offers dishes as well as tapitas and raciones. Good value for money and beautiful deco.

We stayed at Hotel Montero for a family wedding and was looking for somewhere to eat. A family member recommended La Bodeguita and we were not disappointed. Over the 3 days we ended up going back twice. Excellent tasty local artisan food full of locals....You can order a la carte or raciones (larger than tapas) to share. Everything was delicious. We preordered a lobster rice dish its like a paella but wetter 'arroz caldoso' the dish was recommended by a family member and it was delicious we demolished every last bit. The dish has to be preordered because it takes time to prepare. We called the restaurant 2 hours ahead and when we arrived it was ready. The staff are all friendly attentive and deserve a huge mention. Thank you for making us feel so welcomed. Rustic interior with lots of seating areas. Really worth a visit.More

We went there for a few tapas, and ended eating a lot. Many good fresh things to try with a good selection of wines. Try it if you are in the area. For sure I will visit this restaurant again.

This is a good restaurant better for tapas than for a full 3 course meal. The food is typically Spanish and quite good the desserts however are a let down. It is very popular with the locals who tend to go with the tapas, which...is what we have always done in the past, however this time we opted to go in the main restaurant at the rear and were disappointed. The service was poor they seemed to be having problems coping with the volume of people, by the time my main course arrived my husband had finished his. We will probably go back for tapas, but will not be making the mistake again of opting for a full 3 course meal.More

High end posh tapas bar and restaurant. Full of locals having a great evening. Plate after plate of delicious tapas in a fabulous old building. Gear service and great atmosphere. Highly recommended, and clearly the best choice for visitors to Los Barrios.

Nice ambience, well decorated, good service and above all nice food, especially the meats....a little bit on the pricey side for the area...though worth the visit
