Very small place with limited seating inside and outside..but totally worth going there because they make best ice cream i've tried! Staff speak minimal english but very friendly, and you can use goggle translator. Truly is one of the best horchatas in town and has the right texture. Can see they don’t compromise quality. The best is order a bun and dip it with a nice cold horchata.

Azul has a very traditional production process and their horchata tastes nothing like supermarket bottled versions. The owner was lovely and let us sample all of the varieties! They were all delicious but the group favorite was hazelnut. The place is tiny but you can't...miss it as there is usually a line!More

When in Alicante you must visit this place, taste the only proper horchata and you won't look to taste any others. This has been in the family for 3 generations. Try the coffee horchata, sugar or no sugar horchata so many versions you will find...one to your taste and the ice cream is delicious too. You may have to queue but it's worth waiting for. 5* and the staff are very helpful too letting you taste before you buy. So what you waiting for!!More

have been here many times through the years very tiny hole in the wall, serving one of the best horchata's EVER very few places beat their handmade sweet chufa's milk (there's no dairy in it what so ever) this is truely craft work and local...produce, not from concentrate, not out of factories, the real deal! they also have ice cream (turrón flavor is really on point), but I usually just get myself a jar, or a liter or two if we're a crew discovered it 30 years ago, will come back and come again and again and again... if you're in Alicante, you like a sweet drink, do yourself a favor, don't miss this place!More

Best orxata (tigernut milk) I've ever tried! They have tigernut, almond, hazelnut and chocolate milk ones. Pastries are amazing too. The place is really tiny and it has just two small tables but you can have it take away. This one is a must if...you visit Alicante.More

As this place is very close to our house we always go there for an icecream. My daughter loves the cream one, my wife the hazelnut icecream and I am undecided so tasting them all. The place is always full, at peak hrs there are...queues. I recognize ppl that I see every year, tasting the same icecream :) they are fabulous as well as the other local products, all freshly made and served. Though sometimes takes a while to order, try this place, u wont regret it.More

Really the best homemade horchata from Alicante. If you never tried it, go there. Also the limon granizado. (Ice lemon to drink) is really wonderfull.

I'm from Alacant and I can say that I've been in more than 20 orxateries (orxata bar) and Azul is simply the top among the best. Traditional production process, the freshness of the orxata is unique and the kindness of the owners reflects the spirit...of the place. A must go (and taste) in the city!More

Have tasted Horchata from bottles but to taste it from this place with crushed ice is even more delicious especially with a Spanish "farton". One of the staff, very helpful , speaks very good English. If in Alicante do not go home without tasting it.

Ask for your granizado de limon and be prepared to be impressed. The place is tiny, but the taste of this granizado is great.
