The perfect place to eat (and worth the climb!). We contacted the restaurant in advance and asked for a table on the terrace, we were not disappointed and had a fantastic view.
We were there for around three hours in total but the visit felt much shorter. The food was excellent from start to finish with well constructed dishes course after course (we had the Ereta menu). Some of the best dishes we’ve ever had.
Wine pairing was excellent and it was fantastic that so many ingredients and wines were locally sourced.
The service was professional but with individual personality and we really loved this.
I cannot possibly understand some of the negative reviews - maybe they were just unhappy people- we thought this was perfect. If you want to visit a special restaurant in Alicante, go here.

Took the long hike up to this great location in the heat of the day one Friday afternoon. Just us and one other couple being served. Service was friendly and the waiter had wonderful English, describing each dish in detail. The price was very reasonable a tasting menu with accompanying wine. I enjoyed every glass of wine but some of the dishes were just not to my taste. No disrespect to the chef who I am sure did a great job, some of it just didn't work for me which is more about taste than ability. Having said that, I have experienced many tasting menus and I normally enjoy every course. Good value, great location, amazing service

The meal is a collection of smaller plates together with wine (if preferred). Whilst the dining experience is excellent, the menu doesn´t change very frequently and the price is high. Given the restaurant´s location and the food quality it is worth it. Booking recommended as it is often full booked.

Food is not that great nothing amazing and if you dont like fishy taste, definitely dont go there.
The old lady, I assume she was the manager, was extremely rude to me and my boyfriend. Either she is racist or she doesnt like english people as she was really nice to Spanish families that were next to us.
Asked her or somebody from her staff to take a picture of us as soon as we got in but she refused and later on in the night they were taking pictures of a group of spanish guys.
We arrived half hour before the restaurant opened and we asked to just have a drink whilst waiting and again she refused!
To think we spent over 150 pounds on a meal for two and not getting a good customer service is astonoshing.

* Degustation menu was interesting, diff textures, ideas
* Location of restorant is great and a view from there in geenral
Minus:
* Booked our visit 2 month ahead to celebrate daughter birthday, but got probably the worst table with view to kitchen and staff only rooms with associated noise
* Ordered Cava as aperitive and a bottle of vine, we received Cava after wine after we reminded about it.
* The worst surprise was how to get back home; uphill it was just a 10 min walk form the city, but found the bad way that park closes at 11 or 12 (walking up and down in park in the dark, trying to find a way to escape, but the gates are closed) . There is no easy way out, you call all possible numbers to call a taxi, no answer.
* I came back to restaurant and tried to explain what happened and ask what to do to waiters in restaurant and then also contacted a manager of restraint, no one understand the issue. Very strange. Do you have a Micheline star, in top for the fine dinning? Really?

We booked based on friends recommendation, we mentioned in the booking it was a birthday celebration, and kindly asked for a candle in her dessert; which they forgot to add.
The unique selling point of the restaurant is the views and location; they sat us by the windows; we couldn’t see anything as they were so so dirty. The place was full of dust, and … artificial flowers. How cheap!!
The plates were explained in English; the waitress was speaking so fast we couldn’t understand anything. Most of the dishes were not explained.
Definitely wouldn’t recommend.
Prices are way too high for their offering.

Lousy. We tried the Friday night tasting menu and there really is no balance of flavor in the dishes. Of twelve dishes, 10 are fish, in which you can even find bones. No plates were returned empty from our table as we were unable to finish any, not even the desserts. We will not return.

I was impressed by the views of alicante and it was lovely to watch the sun go down. The menu is a 6+ tasting menu and pairing wine if you chose. The waiter was very knowledgeable I'm English to explain the food and the wine. I would highly reccommend. It was a walk up the hill to get to and we took a taxi back

Disappointing a hoax
First of all there was no room manager and we didn't have a waiter assigned to our table.
At no time did we have any explanation about the proposal nor did the chef go out to give us any recommendation or explanation about his menu
The dishes were dirty and the “people who served us” in dirty aprons were not professional waiters
I am not clear if the raw material was of poor quality or that the product was mistreated, rather both
Not only were the dishes not empty at our table, but some dishes were inedible
Price does not correspond at all with quality and service

Nestled on a rocky outcrop of the Parque de la Ereta just below the Castillo de Santa Bárbara, the restaurant enjoys a breathtaking view of Alicante. A small private car park is at your disposal about a hundred meters from the establishment.
A cozy atmosphere, sober and wooded decor, our table is set in front of the huge bay window which overlooks the city.
No menu here, just a tasting menu of 7 dishes and three desserts. The menu focuses heavily on fish and shellfish. The cuisine is light, subtle and creative. The service is relaxed, attentive and informs you about each dish. Count on a good hundred euros per person

A woman staff member shouted and dismissively waved me out of the entrance to the restaurant telling me to come back at 13:30. I did not even have the chance to explain why I was there.
When I walked past yesterday at 13:00 the doors were wide open and a number of staff were sitting around a table. I stood in the entrance and waved. All I wanted to do was ask when they opened and if I needed to make a reservation for lunch.
I was with a good friend and wanted to buy him a farewell meal.
The management here are foolish - allowing potential customers to be treated with disrespect. I am often in Alicante with many friends and will never return here. Anyway the food was massively over-priced, so no loss to my pocket!

Beautiful view! We had a very tasty meal and the service was professional and cordial. We thought the biggest drawback was the adjusted wine formula! This was €35, per 2 courses you got 1 glass that contained far too little wine. We felt cheated about this. Too bad because otherwise it's a great one!

If I could put 10 stars out of 5 I would do it without hesitation. Not only is the restaurant with the best views and most beautiful in Alicante, but it has the best menu and the most original and the most excellent and dedicated service I have seen in my entire life (and I have seen many very good). They make you feel at home and help you with anything you need, adapting 150% to everything (not to mention the dinner experience itself, which is spectacular). If you have a special event, do not hesitate to ride it here, you are right for sure (it was my case and I will return).

I booked a few weeks before and organized everything with the help of the dearest Viktor, who committed himself to satisfying all my requests and expectations.
Unforgettable location with spectacular views of the Ereta park and the city of Alicante, including the port.
The fixed tasting menu is surprising, you notice and savor a constant search for unique flavors and combinations.

We enjoyed an excellent evening and the food was amazing, the waitress Carmen was explaining us all the dishes and the wine with decent knowledge, very friendly with eye for detail. We will definitely return to this wonderful place..to be continued
