Avoid at all costs, overpriced to say the least, paid 27euro for hake an chips, the hake was tasteless an I got about 6 chips, extremely disappointing considering the front door was adorned with prize winning accolades.

Visited here for Mother’s Day. Great food and very pleasant staff and decor, overlooking Loch Foyle a gem of a place. A must if you are in this area. Thank you to all concerned. You made a Special Day. EXTRA SPECIAL. Thank You

We visited on the recommendation of our B&B host. The place was rather quiet for a Saturday evening which is not a great sign. The outside doesn't really look too inviting. The general atmosphere wasn't too friendly. One of the waitresses was plainly rude when...More

Saw this restaurant listed on the Lonely Planet website and decided to pop in last week as we were driving the wild atlantic way, it was helpfully en route. 3 courses for 32 euro was fantastic value, menu full of beautiful local prime fish, perfectly...More

Please don't visit this place. The service is terrible. The waiter shouted at me because I asked him if we could push two tables together. The food is really poor value. The John Dory costs 32 Euros. It's so over cooked you could use it...More

From the awards on the wall it is easy to see that this is a restaurant living on its glory days. Now it is just a overpriced tourist trap. Avoid it and go to the local golf club for better food, better value and better...More

This place at Greencastle on Lough Foyle has a fine car park. From outside there is no indication of the quality dining available. Local fish is served. The proprietor knows his wines and has some unique bottles

Kealys, in my opinion is the best seafood restaurant in Ireland. It is the freshest local produce which makes the food delicious, from the homemade scones, chowder to die for, the biggest sweetest crab claws I've ever had anywhere, and absolutely beautiful salmon and haddock,...More

Kealy's was recommended by our B&B. If you did not know better from the outside it could be mistaken for an ordinary pub. On closer inspection however you see the collection of resturaunt awards on the wall. The dining room is unremarkable but the same...More
