Hadn't planned to visit this pub but got a bit lost on the country roads and happened to find our way there. Quality of the food far exceeded our expectations and we only had bangers and mash! If we had stayed in the area longer...More

Family lunch, with sunday roasts. Two of our party were vegetarian so had the nut roast. All very tasty. The veggies could not have the Yorkshire puddings which were yummy. We think this was because they were cooked in beef fat but maybe they could...More

Can’t fault this place on atmosphere and friendly staff, they were really brilliant. However, I walked away with a frustration. Their website and their in-house menu indicates which meal’s are vegan friendly. I usually prepare well ahead of a visit in the event there aren’t...More

Service is good, range of beers remains excellent. We have been regular visitors as this restaurant is a short drive from our village and has always been our destination of choice for birthdays and celebrations. But have they changed the chef? It's always been relatively...More

I'd completely forgotten this place existed when my husband suggested it today. We were driving around Kent and popped in on the way home. I'm a creature of habit so had the roast lamb again and it was even better than before despite the incredibly...More

10 friends came down to visit and we all had lunch in the garden on a Saturday afternoon. All were new to the Stilebridge and none were impressed. My other half was served mouldy salad, not just wilted, but turning to stodge. On another visit,...More

We have dined at this local pub for many years now and have always been happy. We recently popped in for a meal and were very disappointed with the quality of the food we were served. We won't be going back any time soon.

Yes this pub is very vegan friendly. Just call up to ask if there is anything you would want to specifically know. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. It is also gluten free friendly here as well!

Description
Stile Bridge Freehouse Pub & Restaurant is an independent, family owned country pub serving a wide range of real ales, wonderful wines and a spectacular Gin List in addition to the usual spirits. With a fully commercial kitchen cooking food freshly prepared from local produce, a vegetarian-friendly mix of English cuisines from old favourites to something a little different awaits and all at very reasonable prices. There is a large patio garden with plenty of benches and seating for the summer and real fires indoors for the colder winter months. There is a separate restaurant inside the spacious interior of the pub but customers are welcome to eat in the bar and lounge areas should they choose to. A large free car park is available for all our visitors.
