Have food here one evening while we were staying nearby, we had booked a table Food was very good and reasonably priced. Staff were all friendly. We enjoyed our meal and will return in the future. Thanks for a great night

Although it was not easy to find all the locals know it so just ask one. A cosy and friendly pub with a restaurant attached. The food was hot and tasty and my only complaint was the portions were too large but we have come to expect that in Yorkshire. Clearly northerners have larger appetites than soft southerners.

The food at the Bolton Arms was very generous indeed and was very hearty! Our starters and main courses were very good and I had ice cream for dessert. My friend had tiramisu and I truly believe this is the worse I have ever seen or tasted - please remove it from the menu unless you can make it properly.... More

We called in here for lunch prior to staying close by. For a start it is in a beautiful village in a beautiful part of the country. That alone makes it worth a visit. The pub itself it really nice. The eating area is spacious and the staff were very friendly. We sat outside to eat our lunch. The food... More

The Bolton Arms is a busy and popular local pub. It offers food and has a happy hour. It also offers free wifi which is handy for those people staying in cottages in the village which don't provde internet access.

We have stayed and eaten many times, but this last visit (for our wedding) we had a cottage nearby. We booked a large table to say goodbye to guests that were returning to Australia. They said 'it's the best eats we have had all week ' Good menu, with great service. Dog friendly in the bar for meals.

Food good, accommodation very poor. We had an outside room, number 3. It was very cramped, so much so that we had to shuffle sideways between the bed end and a chest of drawers. The washbasin was divorced from the bathroom and toilet so we had to make the shuffle regularly. The room was damp and we were supposed to... More

We stop for a pint since our Wi-Fi was down at the cottage. Good selection of local English beers. We had stop a few days before for dinner and really enjoyed our evening. We all had the specials of the day and it was excellent. Highly recommended.
