The food here was the best we encountered out of the 5 Paradors we ate in. And while the others all lacked good service to some degree this one excelled with prompt and smiling action. Food was interesting and tasty.

My wife had prawns with hake which was excellent. I started with the local bean & vegetable soup which was fantastic (but big) and followed with roasted half shoulder of lamb, full of flavour. Both portions were huge so left no room for dessert. On...More

We had a great dinner with local dished in the parador. Combined with lovely service and nice red wine. Had a great evening. If I have to mention one thing that was disappointing: the 3 course menu really was too much. ;-)

We liked the fare and the prices at the hotel restaurant. We took one lunch in the village and that meal was a disappointment.

Unfortunately, it was too chilly to eat out on the balcony but take the option if you can, with the restaurant being incorporated into the medieval town walls. Food is excellent, but beware the starter portions are BIG. A brief wine list has some excellent...More

Pleasant restaurant, good food, jamon, gazpacho, then I chose a grilled steak to stay on the light side. We had a drink on the terrace before dinner, the view is spectacular.

When we arrived at the bar for a pre dinner drink we were a bit concerned to find 3 large groups in attendance and wondered what effect this would have on service in both the bar and the restaurant. We need not have worried, service...More

Excellent restaurant with good service and a terrace overlooking the countryside. The jamon is wonderful coupled with a bottle of local Rioja and the menu is pretty extensive.

I booked the dinner with the room. It seemed good value. But the dishes were a bit meager. It is fine for elderly people, but if one has a healthy apatite its a bit slim. The restaurant is full of elderly spanish. Maybe a groupon...More
