From the northern part of the volcano, driving back to Catania you can find this relaxing place where you can eat typical plates like boar meat. Enter the gate and find a green area with the restaurant in the center. Parking is available and also a small recreation ground for the kids. Just sit there and experience serenity. Don't go... We saw this restaurant on our way to Etna. We stopped by for lunch and were extremely satisfied. Stayed there for about 3 hours as we took it easy, one plate after the other including dessert. This restaurant is highly recommended. It is also very clean including the restrooms. Will surely go again while in Sicily!

We were driving back to our hotel from Mt Etna today and looking for somewhere to eat at lunch time. We were the only diners there but everything was perfect, good food and service. It's out of the way and almost out of place for Italy. The building and car park are immaculate as was the food and presentation.

Off the beaten track but well worth the drive. The service was excellent, food very tasty and panoramic view of mnt Etna. We had starter with a taste of local meat and cheese. For mains tagliatelle with mushrooms and risotto rosso. Both excellent! Dessert with chocolate fondant and local ice cream. All very delicious. We are coming back tomorrow :-)

Had a lovely late lunch after hiking the hills of Mount Etna... Cured meats, housemade pasta with sausage and fennel, beautiful breads, olives, spicy peppers and big bottles of boutique beer from southern Italy. Fine service and delicious cuisine, were were treated with great care and hospitality.

My family and I rented a house in Milo for a week and were unimpressed by the number of places to eat and also the quality of the food. Da Rinuccio, however, is the exception. We were there in the off-season, so we were the only ones in the restaurant. There was one man working there- he was acting as... More

The restaurant is a short drive out of Milo on Via Mareneve, to the north of Mount Etna. We decided to eat here on the recommendation of our host at a nearby B&B. The recommendation was thoroughly merited. The food is perfectly prepared and the service is excellent. If you are in the area of Milo and Zafferna Etnea then... More

The very best meal we had in our 10 days in Sicily was at da Rinuccio. The chef is incredibly talented, creating dishes that are based on traditional recipes, but with a twist that makes them unforgettable. Anyone going MUST try the Riso Etna, and my daughter loved the citrus risotto so much that she refused to order risotto again... More
