Excellent view, beautiful food and friendly staff and diners. We ended up hanging out here for way longer than expected! Even the toilets make you smile 😃. Definitely visit if you're in the area.

Well this was a highlight from our 5 day trip in/around Puglia. We sat here overlooking the valley & enjoyed a bottle of cold white wine & a mixed plate of ham & cheeses with bread. It was divine. The sun was blazing & we...were out on the street under the brolly. Perfect. It turns out the woman who runs it was lovely & was family linked to the winery down the road I Primitivo. This was such a lovely way to spend an hour & half. As I recall the wine was 16 euro & the board was 12. Worth every euro.More

Santina, the owner, was a wonderful host. She and her staff prepared the best appetizers my wife, my friend and I ever had! It was so good that we returned to Locorotondo THREE times to experience the exquisite cuisine, great service and breathtaking views of...vineyards and olive groves in the valley below! Santina’s wine selection was wonderful as well! Our favorite place!More

We ate here as a family and enjoyed the appetizer special which consisted of 10 small hot and cold local dishes. We combined this with a meat/ cheese platter and followed with two tiramisu. It all tasted delicious and was enough food for four people....The service was friendly and efficient and the location is lovely over looking the Itria Valley and the vineyards and trulli houses. 100% recommend.More

Such a lovely bar in a beautiful location! We had a light dinner here one day and loved it so much that we came back for drinks another night. Their aperitif was so tasty too! We got a selection of nibbles and some little bruschettas...with different toppings. So generous considering we only got a spritz and a glass of red! Very friendly staff! Would recommend to anyone. Will definitely be coming back here next time we are in Locorotondo!More

We were looking for a nice place, not too touristy, to have a quick lunch and we luckily stumbled into Controra. The place is lovely, it is super nicely decorated and has a great view, It serves great local products. We had one salad to...share, two sandwiches, a juice each and coffee and everything was delicious. We were also treated with some figs at the end of our meal and the lovely owner, upon knowing that it was my birthday also treated me to a great dessert. Really lovely owner and staff, the place has such a lovely vibe, it's a little gem! We are really happy to have found it and highly recommend it to anyone going to beautiful Locorotondo.More
