I have to admit, I'm a sucker for all food "on the wild side". Out of a choice of snails, horse, stag (deer), fawn (deer) and bison it was a tough choice. I finally decided on horse as it is not eaten in the U.S.. However, if I could have done s mixture of them all I would have. Fantastic... More

I tried the onion soup and was pleasantly surprised. I'm used to making French onion soup but this was plain white onion soup. it was delicious and the owners were as wonderful as ever.

After reading the reviews left by travellers we thought about visiting this place when in Sommacampagna, but unfortunately the service left much to be desired. The lady taking the orders was unfriendly and hardly took notice of us and the 10 euro lasagne, although tasty, was very small by every standard!

Came here because of previous reviews. We were not disappointed! Regrettably our Italian is virtually non existent but it was fun having the menu explained to us by the waitress whose English was non existent too. We got there. Best part was when I thought something on menu was hare. Was told by the waitress with hands flapping as ears."... More

How a trattoria should be. We went with two teenage children, had ovoli/scallop soup, capriolo con polenta, trippa, melanzane; they make everything there including the bread. The house wine by the glass was good. And the service is informal but immediate and good humoured. We'd go back.

I had one of my best lunch in Trattoria Tre Colli! immediately enetring in the restaurant you have the idea to be in a real different place: the furniture, the atmosphere...everything remember you the life of the rural areas of Italy in the 50's/60's! And after this...the show begins! The owners are real kind and are very happy to explain... More

Lovely little restaurant. Good wholesome home style ittalian dishes. Don't expect an English menu. Do expect funny charades style actions from owners to describe the menu..It does work. A great meal in a lovely little courtyard. Retains most trattoria values. We will be back.

We stop once a year at the trattoria for a perfect lunch on the quiet deck. The place is charming and the food is very good. Everything is prepared by the family chef. Very traditional Italian cuisine, respectful of the quality of the product. Ther might be a menu written somewhere, but, as for tradition in Italy, the owner comes... More
