I've been visiting the "Lindner" for more than 30 years and still the beer is the best I tasted (I might be biased!). The brewery has a good size beer-garden however you might struggle to find a space during those warm summer afternoons and evenings....This alone is witness to how good the place is. It's loved by locals as well as tourists and despite the number of guests you will hardly ever have to wait for food or drink thanks to the efficient staff. Do not expect fancy cocktails at Linder's. Drink the beer and enjoy the Bavarian cuisine.More

Outstanding Old World charm in this 18th Century Bavarian restaurant, fast & friendly service, and the most delicious local dishes to satisfy any visitor. Highly recommended!

This is must-visit restaurant for anyone seeking authentic Bavarian food. Portions are big (as one would expect) and the bier (in-house brewery) and wine relatively inexpensive. Service was a bit erratic, but this is mainly due to the serving staff/diner ratio - the restaurant is...large and very busy. Sit outside and enjoy. Highly RecommendMore

Visited with a group of people after a visit to the local flour mill. With a large outside eating area, some under cover, this was a perfect time to enjoy a good meal from the large choice menu and drink the local beer. A Lindner...Brau helles beer is light and has more hops, the Märzen beer is darker with more malt, (my favourite)More

We always eat here when in the area. Its great to sit outside in the beer garden. I always order knoedel and sauerkraut. This time I also had the schnitzel - outstanding. This is traditional Bavarian food at its best.

Our group of 5 - joined later by 3 others - enjoyed a relaxing delicious lunch at this restaurant. I enjoyed the roast pork and knoedel with sauerkraut. It was delicious. The other dines all had positive comments on their meals. Our waitress was friendly...and efficient. The final bill was very reasonable. We will definitely return.More

This is without any doubt one of the best pubs with a huge beer garden right next to the Kurpark. The prices are incredibly low, the food portions are enormous and the quality of the typical Bavarian dishes is excellent. Its a very busy place...and can be overcrowded on a warm summers evening but they still cope very well and you don’t have to wait too long before being served. This is Bavaria and hasn’t changed since I went there first 20 years ago.More

Lindner makes the finest beer in Bavaria I think. The place is magical and the food is ok. We try to come once a month.

This is a great place if you visit in lower Bavaria. The ambiance inside is old and rustic and needs some attention. But don't be fooled. The food is very traditional...so is the beer and the ambiance. If weather permits there is also great outdoor...space. But it is fun to mingle inside with true Bavarian s. One dish I get here every-time I come is a very simple one: Brotzeitteller! The more people the bigger the plates. Highly Recommended...however, all other items are true Bavarian kitchen. If you get the Brotzeitteller get also some Pressack which they make there. If they offer Schweinebraten...go for it.More
