This has delicious food n good service. However it's it's really busy don't expect to be in n out quickly. The patio looks like a grand experience but have ate indoors. It can be very noisy..not sure why...maybe because of small rooms n no sound adsorbers. But truly a good spot to choose for a maritime experience!

Thank you for your review & yes our patio is one of the best in the Maritimes! During our peak season yes we are a very busy location with almost 300 seats and typically a wait list at the door so we always recommended having a reservation. The small rooms are intentional both for private more intimate bookings & to... More

Been going since they opened, and had to stop going. All was well for quite some time, but then... After some pretty glaring ups and downs, someone obviously has a steady hand on the tiller at this point. Any place can have an off day, but when they start to pile up, look out. Times have changed for the better.... More

This restaurant has it all - great food, great service and a wonderful view over the Cornwallis River. On certain nights there may even be entertainment. There is an excellent menu with a wide variety of offerings from typical pub food (burgers, club sandwich) to steak and sea food. All of it is done nicely and presented well. The restaurant... More

When this pub opened, it was very nice and a welcome addition to local dining options. Over time; however, the quality of the food and service declined to the point where we refused to go back. After hearing recent reports from friends that improvements had been made, we decided to give it another try - - it is a lovely... More

As soon as you step into this restaurant you will want to eat here because of the tantalizing smells. This restaurant near the water offers an attractive setting and excellent menu. While the portions of some dishes are smaller than expected, they are adequate. Other menu choices seem overly large. The food is excellent and the servers outgoing and friendly,

I went with a group of 10 people. This restaurant easily accommodated at last minute request. The ambiance is cozy, the food excellent and service fantastic. I look forward to going back.

I do understand the need for the prepping of the daily special due to management of time from order to table, however when the extent of the prep results in the food being over cooked then one must re-think the approach. Our Ahi Tuna was cooked through to the point of suitable only for re-shoe application, and I wondered if... More

The need for prepping products is essential in the restaurant business but do not mistake "prepped food items" for "precooked items" All of our products here at The Port that do not require braising or smoking are prepped & cooked fresh to order. I do not understand the need for someone to review an item they had from weeks past... More

We've been here a few times, and the view is stunning, and definitely the best part of the venue. The food is good, although service suffers a bit when they're busy (understandably?). The beer was great but the Caesar was not up to par. We appreciated the local wine available, though. Would definitely go back again to try more items... More

Great spot for lunch or brunch while site seeing, winery hopping or craft shopping in the Wolfville area. Nice décor and spotlessly clean. Lot's of free parking. Jalapeno pancakes are unique and delicious. Plenty of menu choices. Service was friendly and professional. This is more of a restaurant than a pub. A craft beer brewery has now opened next door... Thank you for your review, we are pleased to have the ability & staff to accommodate pub & restaurant clientele, as a "gastropub" it can be difficult to raise the bar to higher end menu options with out losing our easy going personalities but we believe we do just that & with reviewers such as your self we know we're... We travel from Alberta to Nova Scotia and our favourite place to visit every time is The Port. Their seafood chowder is amazing and we've tried everything from the cream lobster sandwich to fish and chips. Their menu changes seasonally which is nice because it forces us to try different things. And we love that they make their own beer,... More
