The food here was so well put together, it was artistic and the flavours were great. The service was spot on, and the ambiance was a nice mix of couples, families and friends all overlooking the old harbour.

We had a lovely meal which included the freshest of fish, boned skilfully by the waitress in front of us. You can eat upstairs in the balcony or downstairs inside the restaurant. It was too windy and chilly for us to be in the balcony so we can only imagine how wonderful it must be having a meal upstairs on... More

We enjoyed 2 meals here. Had tasty black limpets and delicious octopus. Also a nice mixed salad with prawns and avocado. Yum! Great views too. Street parking easy, and only a short walk to seafront.

The perfect spot! Superb setting ( El Cotillo itself is worth the trip),enthusiastically served range of local dishes and fresh fish with a nice Alabarino to wash it down. All done with a style and a relish not often found on the island. In my experience restaurants in the best locations don't always deliver the best experience the Blue Cow... More

We found this little village whilst driving around. Beautiful little bay with the sea crashing over the rocks. We found this restaurant and picked the best spot on the terrace. I can honestly say that I have not enjoyed a better Paella that the one that we ate here. It was fantastic - their menu was excellent - so spoilt... More

Wouldn't normally be drawn to an establishment with a large blue spotted cow on a rooftop terrace but gave it a go on the basis of previous reviews and fab location overlooking the little bay the old town is clustered around. We optimistically booked a terrace table earlier in the afternoon (staff were happy to show us the options) but... More

For our wedding anniversary, my wife wanted to visit Vaca Azul. Having eaten at almost all the Cotillo restaurants, this was one missing from our list and, as it has a good Trip Advisor rating, we duly made a reservation a few days before the special date. We told the waiter about the anniversary and on arriving we were highly... More

We had a dinner here with my wife and my parents while on our holiday staying at El Cotillo. The place looked nice we were escorted to a table upstairs on the balcony (we've chosen the balcony) since there is a great view from there. Going through their menu I opted for the tuna steak and oh boy I'm so... More

Ate here twice. First afternoon we ate on the "deck" up top in a large booth and had a most relaxing afternoon with very good food. Portions very big. The salted fish was excellent. So good that we came back the following evening and ate again. Perhaps not as amazing second time around but its a lovely restaurant and well... More
