We have not dined here for a long time due having had a bad meal on our last visit. Convinced by friends that things had changed we again had lunch. A big mistake. The place smells of cooking fat, the food is very average and the old uncomfortable chairs and tables are from the past. Get real people this is... More

Decided to try this restaurant, wanted paella but had to book in advance. Was disappointed but had nice lunch of mixed fried fish.

Had a weekday lunch there in August. Not too crowded, prompt and friendly service. The steamed mussels were almost perfect ( some needed de-bearding!) and the baby squids were very tasty and plentiful. Well suited for families so the kids can play on the beach in plain sight. It wasn't too expensive, but beach restaurants are always at a premium... More

It is the last of the original chiringuitos still there! All the others have modernised! Is this good? I wonder? We dined there /5 people on Saturday 25 June. It was perfect. I hope it does not modernise like the others. Pure simplicity /food good / friendly service. Good value.

Lovely beach bar and restaurant at the end of the bay with very friendly service. A great spot to sit and have a drink or meal.

Been here lots of times and expectation is always on the low side, beach restaurants are always popular but, it's unfair to be given such arrogant service and terrible crockery, granted the chips are always good but twice I have personally been served grilled fish which was frozen solid inside. The last time this happened I had to take the... More

Late Sunday lunch on the beach, fantastic view, perhaps a little windy - but could sit at a more sheltered table! Great freshly cooked local food Cheap drinkable wine and beer Very friendly service Busy with locals, expats and tourists One of the places to visit in La Herradura
