It's great to be in an unknown town and to pick a restaurant from scratch and to be blown away with a very good innovative menu and very competent cooking and presentation. This place is as good as any. The waiting staff were very young...More

We had been reminiscing about a wonderful meal we'd had at colleys supper rooms years ago, and decided to go back for fathers' day this year. I booked over the phone and a very friendly lady assured me that the restaurant is wheelchair friendly. We...More

Myself and 4 friends booked Sunday lunch. When I booked I asked if there was a vegetarian roast option. My friend adores everything about a roast other than the meat but often ends up having to eat a risotto whilst watching us tuck into roast...More

I've seen a lot of reviews on here reminiscing for the way colleys used to be. We too loved supper club, but it's clear that it wasn't making sufficient money for the place to stay afloat and I for one am glad they changed it....More

We went for dinner and were not disappointed. Venison for both of us, cooked just right and with a generous, but not gluttonous, dauphinois potatoes, small mushrooms and an excellent jus. For dessert we shared a dish of French and Italian cheeses, nicely served with strawberries...More

The best restaurant within easy reach of Swindon, the service is very attentive and the gin selection is superb.

Attentive staff, warm welcome and a cozy ambiance set the theme for a memorable evening meal. Good selection on the menu with more than the expected "run of the mill" offerings. Try the duck fat chips and American onion rings. Food expertly cooked and presented....More

Good fresh starter of Thai fish cakes and gorgeous dessert. However at £27 I expected more from the steak than a dollop of mash, a handful of rocket and an unpleasantly overpowering sauce. Rather let the meal down unfortunately, especially with that kind of price...More

Colleys is not the same set up as it used to be, therefore if you have not been for a few years it will certainly be different. For a special occasion be sure you are happy with the venue & menu. Hope this helps

I didn't see any toilets other than the ones upstairs, but it would be best if you rang them, they are very helpful.

We also have a taste the world evening once a month, full details are always available on our website & social pages. Anything from a 1950's American diner to an Indian street food bazaar. these evenings always sell out so keep your eyes peeled! Our bar is home to 80 of the worlds finest gins all carefully married with a perfect garnish to highlight the true flavour. Any questions on gin just ask for Tom & he'll guide you through the different styles. Colleys is in a 16 century coaching inn with lots of character matched with a casual modern decor.
