although its evident the chef has a sense of cooking, the overall taste is soooo disappointing, the ingredients leave you with a sour taste in your mouth, worst part, the arrogant based on no knowledge whatsoever attitude of the waiters, very cheap ,

It was our first visit and it certainly will not be the Last. Beautiful environment, cosy atmosphere and a young and enthusiast team. We had the 5 course dinner and each was worth the visit. Good wines pairing the dishes and beautiful presented.

Very facilitating and modern. Taste explosions. Striving to serve the best food perfectly. Wanted to give a 10 minus, due to the fact that we liked the main dish less (less tasty).

We come to this place once or twice a quarter for lunch or dinner. Food has always been good, but recently ever more ingredients, tastes and decoration are crammed into and around tiny bits of food. Often there’s more sauce or foam than actual food...and yesterday was the first time we started to give up on the show. The staff are ok but insist on breaking up the guest’s conversation every time they appear with something, and whilst we respect what the professionals do and deliver, there should be respect in the other direction as well, and that is not always apparent. The concept is somewhat informal and that is fine, but at this price level one expects something close to perfection with a touch of informality rather than the other way around.More

This restaurant is one of the finest I have ever visited. Although the name “Amsterdammertje” suggests they serve cheap Pub food, the reality is much better.

We went to ‘t Amsterdammertje with a party of six, arriving at 18.30 hrs and leaving at around 23.30 hrs. Inbetween? Five hours of culinary pampering... We took the five course menu that including all the appetizers and sweets that came with the coffee extended...to about ten. We also took the accompanying wines. Evaluation: - Restaurant atmosphere: very good, albeit it was rather noisy and very busy - Wines: very good - Presentation of food: very good - Taste of food: average to very good, varying very much from item to item - Service: good to very good - Timing: a bit too long for my taste I didn’t look at the menu. Would I come again? Not for the set menu yet depending on the a la carte options I might.More

We had the chef's choice 5 course menu... I honestly couldn't find any fault any of the dishes. Everything was beautifully presented in various original ways. Certainly the ingredients used were incredibly fresh and the flavours were perfectly balanced and delicious. Service was impeccable yet...informal. It more than deserves it's 1 star. Will definitely be back.More

on Sat, 13 Oct 2018, I tried my luck to go this restaurant without reservation. Unfortunately, this restaurant was full. The waitress recommended me another restaurant, but I did not know why they asked "do you know the price range?" after they recommend it. I...felt a bit bad with that question since I did not wear a suit, it did not mean that I cannot afford a fine dining restaurant. They recommended another fine dining restaurant, called Tante Koosje. I was completely satisfied with the delicious dinner and good service, even though I was only wearing a t-shirt. Really appreciate it.More

Loenen aan de Vecht is a small place close to Utrecht! It is though the place to visit if you would like to enjoy culinary events. ‘T Amsterdammertje is a top restaurant and is since 2011 in the possession of a Michelin star! It’s located...in an old building, nicely and stylished decorated! We had a gourmet night...every single dish was a culinary surprise finely paired with outstanding wines! My recommendation is to plan your trip well ahead and spent an evening...not easely to forget..... spoiling your tastebuds !!! Outstanding service by the owner (...and ruler in the kitchen..) his wife and their dedicated staff!! Bon apetit!!!More
