...during your winery tours? I went to Pan y Oliva this past February with a tour and was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant has a rustic and very welcoming decor, located near a beautiful garden. As I was in a tour I had a fixed menu: bruschetta with tomatoes and prosciutto; meat lasagna; fruit salad topped with vanilla ice cream and... More

Very good food. A good variety of choices, especially for vegetarians and a wide choice of Zuccardi wines. 30 minutes drive from downtown Mendoza.

We went to Pan y Oliva as an alternative to the other Zuccardi restaurant, which we understand is more formal and less kid-friendly. The food was outstanding - lots of variety to choose from, portion sizes were generous (compared to what we're used to at other wineries), dishes were creative and delicious, and the wine was outstanding. We also thought... More

Our first meal in Mendoza was at Pan & Oliva. We chose P&O over the other Zuccardi restaurant because the menu seemed to better cater to my vegetarian needs. The food was delicious (my carnivore husband agrees) and we were able to sample 3 of their olive oils with the freshly baked bread they served. Service was excellent and the... More

Great food, delicious wine! We chose to eat at this restaurant instead of the main one, because we wanted to eat pasta! And it was the best choice ever! We had homemade bread, different kinds of olive oil (from Zuccardi), and a great meal! The restaurant is cosy, staff was very friendly. We loved it

After our visit to Familia Zuccardi we went to Pan & Oliva looking for a light menu that we could pairing with a different wine that we never had tasted. We choose the Caladoc Textual, which was amazing pairing with the starters , delicious home made breads with olive oil, Lentils cakes, that were tremendously tasty! also we had a... More

The restaurant has a great ambiance, the food is fresh, and the menu quite interesting. There were also multiple options for vegetarians. The food, however was a bit bland and the service, while very pleasant, was not particularly attentive.

We enjoyed a lovely cooking class and lunch, as well as a tour of the olive oil production. A wonderful afternoon!

Located in the Maipu farm, in front of the olive mill and extraction area with the latest technology and only feet from the olive plantations, Pan y Oliva is the second gastronomic enterprise of the Zuccardi Family and is a part of the ample touristic offerings through Casa del Visitante. It's essence can be summed up in three concepts: Restaurant - Delicatessen - Classroom. Pan y Oliva has a style that is drastically different than that of the Casa del Visitante, being much more informal making olive oil the prominent product. Tapas, pastas, salads and homemade dishes prepared with fresh and seasonal ingredients, have a relevant place in unstructured gastronomy, and in which it is easy to notice Mediterranean and regional influences.
