Donkotsu ramen is awesome. Long queue always. Should go late or early time. Should't forget deep flavor of ramen soup. Variety of sake, shower and cocktails. Worth to taste some of those.

This restaurant is great for enjoying the local culture, along with its dishes. Not only that, there is a small ramen shop within this restaurant (Tondou) that serves EXCELLENT ramen and gyoza, in case you're not in the mood for local food. The interior of the restaurant has traditional Okinawan artifacts/decorations, and local music is played, so you can get... More
We've visited here several times since my last review and decided to review again since it'd been a few years. The food & ramen was still great, icy cold beer and we got there late night just in time for last call for food orders. Spicy miso ramen, rafute, shima rakyou & taco salad, all very good.
On a whim, I brought my boss to this restaurant. He's the kind of person who prefers his tried and true restaurants, so this was a bit of a stretch for him. We both ordered the garlic ramen and the gyoza. We were both very happy with our choices (and I was relieved). Since that night I have returned to... More
We loved this place so much we came back twice. This place is located on the far end of American village, just pass the canal. There are many restaurants on this street and the entrance to this place looks like a small garden of someone's home. Don't miss it and go to the wrong place. Highlight of the meal -... More
We went to this restaurant in the recommendation of the Hilton Hotel that we were staying in. What I didn't realise about Okinawa is that it is heavily influenced by the large American airbase there, so there is a lot of American style food and fusion food. We were looking for something which was truer to the country we were... More
Uber friendly staff. Awesome setting. Amazing food. What else do you need? The Ramen is off the hook. Goya Champor is amazing. Gyoza is like none other. And the sushi is amazing. Heading back next week, and we'll be eating here at least once.
Going with the review below on the garlic ramen, and I was not disappointed. The chef was friendly and smiley, but more importantly, I don't even know how, but I ended up drinking all the delicious broth "that has been simmered for 18 hours to extract all the essence". If you're around the area ("American" Ferris wheel and area), and... More

We went to Kinpa Ginpa with friends who HIGHLY recommended the place to us for the garlic ramen. This is probably hands down my favorite ramen for when I want comfort food, or just need a good dose of garlic. All of the flavors were amazing, the noodles were cooked perfectly, there was enough garlic to make it delicious but... More
