Each time I stop off here I always say never again, as it is fairly local we have given the establishment numerous chances but it continues to go downhill. The problem clearly is poor management and a clear need for staff training. Waiting at the bar for over 10 minutes to get served, staff not knowing what they are doing,... More

Ordered kids nachos for my little girl and got served a handful of smashed crisps and a lumpy white dip. Not happy with that. Kids meals came out 10 minutes after adults meals and needed up dissecting my burger to keep her satisfied until her meal came. Asked for a portion of chips that didn't come until after my meal... We ate here while staying near Manchester. The restaurant was quite quiet for saying it was bonfire night. We found a table straight away and our order was placed at the bar. About a 10 minute wait and our starter arrived which was cooked to perfection. Main course was brought about 10 minutes after we had finished our starters so... More

Stayed at the premier inn next door, only place for breakfast. I was not disappointed, cooked option was very nice, good selection cooked to order so piping hot. The only reason I didn't rate at five is I think £8.99 is a bit expensive.

First time here, chose it due to indoor soft play area. It was a Saturday lunchtime and extremely busy around the play area with large groups and smaller tables obviously there to make use of the play area to entertain the kids. It got very very noisy and hot. The high chairs were filthy, menus sticky and the baby changing... More

We agree with most average views of this restaurant. We were with a group of friends with children age 3-60's and had booked a table near to the childrens play area, which was handy to keep an eye on the 3 children with us. As we had visited on a Sunday evening the restaurant was very busy. We placed our... More

Visited 2 years ago and returned because the breakfast was fab. This morning- different story. Staff overrun, 10 uncleared tables when we arrived , most still not cleared over an hour later when we left. Cooked breakfast took 45minutes to arrive. My poached eggs were like bullets and my mushrooms were raw. There were no coffee cups available and no... More

Staying at the adjacent Premier Inn hotel so this was really the only restaurant within walking distance. This Brewers Fayre has no chefs counter so no themed buffet evenings just the normal menu. I opted for the fish and chips and was ok for the price however wished opted for the haddock for extra £1-30,as the fish lacked substance with... More
