I went to Tholos and the customer service was so good! The best I’ve ever seen. My family and I got Spiros for our service and he is the funniest and sweetest person ever, his service was excellent. The food was so good I rate...it a good 11/10. Overall it’s an amazing restaurant and I recommend 100%.- Noah and TintinMore

We got a bad feeling as soon as we walked in and were “unwelcome” by a hostess who clearly wanted to be somewhere else. We got sat and almost immediately asked what we wanted when we had barely downloaded the menu. We asked for recommendations...and followed one of the waitress choices. We received the dip platter which looked like the dips had been scooped like ice cream and the hummus texture was really odd so was its taste. We return the octopus plate as we couldn’t even cut it with our knives, that’s how over cooked it was. The waistress brought us a new plate and to be honest it was just the same and when she got back to ask how it was we said a bit better and she walked away as if she didn’t care. The chicken souvlaki plate was tasteless and seemed liked it had been cooked a long time ago. Nothing was seasoned or marinated. Nothing seemed Greek about this restaurant. Our big mistake was to read the comments afterwards on TripAdvisor. Although this place seemed to have had better service and food in the past, times have definitely changed.More

Our restaurants food quality and great service has not changed in 14 years. Which is why we get such good reviews from our customers.

Called in for take out order and the lady on the phone said to call back because the person who takes orders was not available. She had a huge order and couldn’t take the call. The girl on the phone did not have the ability...to take the take-out order. “You have to call back”, we were instructed. This made us completely wipe them from our option. We decided to try them the next day as we walked to the village. Came in for takeout for a Greek salad. Servers at the front were welcoming and friendly. I went to the bar to place an order for my salad. I ordered a Greek salad and was shocked when I saw the bill for $20. I ordered it regardless because I still wanted the salad. I was expecting a huge salad for $20 of lettuce. When I received it, it was a small takeout container. This was not a large salad. As I started to eat the salad in my hotel, a quarter of the package was taken by the dressing container. Another quarter was taken by the feta cheese and only half of it was salad with soggy onions and tomatoes that were very soft and acidic. This is the worst salad I ever had I will NEVER order here again. Ripped off 100%!More

The menu is very unimaginative. You would think with the opportunity to open after Covid they would strive to impress. The food was well done and very good. But for the price you pay chicken and beef souvlaki shouldn’t be top of the lift

Excellent service, excellent food terrific atmosphere. Waiter was super friendly and attentive. Our meal was spot on and good value for money considering you're eating in the village. Don't hesitate, give it a go.....good food!

I called ahead to make a reservation and was told they do not take reservations and it was walk in only. We showed up as a group of 6 and they asked if we had a reservation?? And was told our child has to sit...with her parents? Where else would my child sit if not with me? Obviously no we did not have a reservation as per the phone call earlier, we were separated as a group a table of 4 and a table of two on the other opposite side of the restaurant which is weird. Many other large groups came in after us and were seated together. Our server asked for our drink order and came back about 15-20 mins later with 3 drinks and never came back with my drink. Roughly another 20mins later my tea came and was put in front of me with no apology for the wait or anything. Our food came and our vegetable sides were raw which were inedible. Honestly our servers came to EVERY other table but ours to check on them, refill drinks etc.. We paid our bill came downstairs and was told to leave through the back side door? This place is over priced the service was horrendous and there are many many other options for dining, don’t waste your time or money!More

Yesterday we showed up to a completely DARK restaurant. We had a reservation for 8pm - for our HONEYMOON- and the restaurant was completely shut down. Little did we know, the complex had a power outage earlier that day, and they never opened up for...dinner. We were stranded for dinner and had to look elsewhere to eat that night. The next day, we gave it another shot. 7pm resos. The food was good. But only good. Our meat came medium well...even though we asked for medium-rare. And while we had told our server about our experience the night before, AND about our honeymoon, we were not met with compensation or empathy. We will NOT be back on the future.More

My husband and I were really excited to eat here but unfortunately, some things fell a little sort of our expectations.... We were seated, and the waiter brought over our water. Quickly took our order, and rushed off.....Never offered a wine/beer menu or asked if...we wanted any drinks. The table beside us was seated and we became invisible, the waiter was very attentive to them, it was obvious they were big spenders and he knew it....They had multiple bottles of wine and appetizers before we even had a chance to ask for a drink. Orders came, and the sides were wrong. He quickly brought over a small bowl of rice as a correction for both of us. Meats were cooked wonderfully...Rice was nice...Seasonal veggies were undercooked, carrots were so hard we couldn't cut through them with the table knife and ended up just leaving them. Impressed with the covid barriers between the table... Would we return....Probably not.More

We’ve been here so many times, we would come especially when we would be down in the summer and sometimes we’d come all the way just for the restaurant. One night we came down and got a hotel just for a weekend get away and...came here (our go to) and since covid happened.. I am not really impressed with the menu or the food since, I always been a fan, I hope it was just the one time, and that this won’t be reoccuring but the last visit, was definitely no where close to every other visit. The food wasn’t good, the service wasn’t great, over all just weird experience compared to the usual. Usually though place is amazing, so I hope to try again to get the food and service that know this place to have.More
