After some of the strenuous hikes to some other waterfalls, this one was a pleasure to stroll to!! We swam in the pools under the waterfall to cool off. Then had a kicking lunch of fresh tilapia. It's very peaceful & beautiful. Not a lot people there, felt like it was our own private waterfall!

A great place to go - swim in the waterfall, then go to the restaurant to catch your own tilapia. The kids had a blast. Then follow up with a lovely lunch. Make sure you have the yucca 'fries' as an appetizer. The fish is amazing, of course!

Fun place to stop and try to cath your own lunch. I caught a few small tilapia... none big enough to eat. The tilapia was amazing and I am usually not a big fan of fish. We had the tilapia fillets. Worth the drive to get to it. It is the 2nd tilapia restaurant on the road to the El... More

One of our new favourite places for lunch. We had the fish filet, the whole fish and the chicken..all excellent along with a cold beer to wash it down with. Service was good and the staff was friendly. Very clean, bathrooms spotless (good place to change into or out of your bathing suit). Short walk to the falls (great foto... More

Great food and service. Park there if you visit the waterfall if you plan to eat there. Check out the talapia ponds. Very fresh fish!

We always come here for lunch with the family and friends. Makes for a liesurely afternoon. The kids fish for tilapia, the grown-ups visit and have a couple of "Micheladas" and everybody is happy!

This is hands down, one of our favorites for lunch. The kids can fish for their own tilapia while the grown-ups order lunch and throw back a "michelada". We always come for lunch when we're in town!

Three items on the menu: fried whole fish, grilled/fried fish fillet and grilled/fried chicken breast. Each 5000 Colones = $10. We ordered one of each: whole fish completely fried to death, dry as a bone. Grilled fillet somewhat juicy but tasteless. Grilled chicken breast also as dry as it comes. I'm a big whole fish lover so big disappointment after... More

Such a unique place. It is quite the drive to get to (we were starting from Dominical) but definitely worth it. The waterfall is a short hike from the restaurant. Not a huge fall but refreshing just the same. We were the only people there on a Monday. The gardens surrounding the restaurant are beautifully kept! The fish was excellent.... More

What a clean and pleasant spot to drop in for lunch. Set in a delightful garden with lots of fish pools. The beer was cold and the food was excellent. We just timed it right as we got there before the tour bus so we did not have to wait for our food. My advice would be to visit the... More
