A charming experience. Genuinely friendly and welcoming service, we felt like we were having tea in someone’s parlour. Scones with jam and cream delightful. Worth waiting for the table.

Miss Marple’s tea rooms remain enduringly popular - so much so that you should expect a wait of an hour or more on weekends. My tip is to put your name down first thing to allow for time to browse the shops. I still love...More

This looks great from the outside - Miss Marple's tea room should know how to make tea right? NO! Over rated attraction which caters for bus loads of travellers; tea for three is two tea bags in a large tea pot at 5 dollars each;...More

This is a real page out of litery history. Agatha Christy Miss Marple comes to life. This is a very popular eatery. It has traditional English fare. Great Devonshire Tea with large scones and lashing of jam and cream. The tea is served in a...More

We visited today expecting to be treated to a traditional English cream tea. Whilst the tea was good, cream and jam good, the scones were not scones. They appear to be catering for a predominantly Asian clientele, who probably don’t know any different. I’ve read...More

I haven't been for a while BUT the scones were as described by others, microwaved and cut in a cubed shape! They were not good scones. If you do want nice scones and want to visit a really good home made shop with home made... More
