Small but cozy interior, excellent ragú and seriously refreshing housewine. Desserts were good too, price/performance ratio top! You won't go home hungry our disappointed I'd say.

We ate the first night and from the enters to the dessert, everything was delightful! Even the small bottle of red wine, which they suggested us was perfect. We came back the night after and we tried different dishes. Perfect dinner ! The restaurant was full of people but they served us very fast... Staff is great too! Recommended !

Menu is traditional hunting fare very nicely presented. Staff were very friendly and patient and they have English menus for those of us who struggled with the out of the ordinary meats! We enjoyed our started which were a variety of cold cuts and livers from game and boar. I did see another table having the antipasti starters that looked... More

We visited the place twice. First time it was after quite a poor experience in other restaurant and we were rather pleased with what we got. The meals were good, service very nice, but we weren't blown away. During our second visit though everything seemed to go a bit downwards. The green salad had brown spots. The pasta was home... Located inside the fortification, this trattoria has no views to the superb tuscan countryside but compensates with a warm atmosphere and a charming decor. Service is efficient even though it was crowded during our visit. We had a delicious chicken and great pastas. The wild boar were good but a bit dry. The dessert were divine, especially the vinsanto!

Due to excellent reviews on tripadvisor we decided to have dinner here. Atmosphere was great, first note...very slow service (only 2 waiters for the whole restaurant for such a busy time of the year...not good at all). We firstly ordered an antipasto which was very basic. Our first pasta dishes came out after an hour!!!!!.... And the dishes were very... More
