Kokeb offers Ethopian food along with other international choices; Chicken, Beef, Fish and Pasta, even American Food. Nice atmosphere. Has fine dining side, and a lounge on the other side. Friendly staff. Can also accomodate large groups for meetings which we had several held here. Outdoor dining available also. Have a back patio and plenty of parking.

Food good if you are a meat-eater. But for a vegan or veggie, you only can eat potatoes and it gets a bit much.

It was hard to rate to Kokeb because the Ethiopian food was really excellent and the service competent and friendly. The hot cloths to wash hands before and after eating were thick enough and damp enough for the job. These parts deserve a 5+. However the overall condition of the inside space was one of run down, we've stopped caring... More

I like the garden of this restaurant. It is a quiet place in CBD and it is perfect for meetings, phone calls or taking notes for work. Food is also good, in particular the Ethiopian food. Vegetarian options are also available and prices are reasonable. A lot of locals also like to meet here.

Kokeb is a favorite restaurant whenever I'm in Nakuru. Great Ethiopian fare though I've decided to never order the beef again because last time it was a bit like chewing rubber bands. The chicken and veggie dishes are great - most served on injera but you can ask for chapati if you prefer. My favorite is Doro Wat. The service... More

Even though the customer service wasn't great (don't expect to finish within 2 hours), we kept on going back to this place because the Ethiopian food was so nice. The juices and the coffee are very good too. There's a pleasant garden to sit in. We didn't try their Italian food because the Ethiopian selection was so nice.

We always visit here when we stay in Nakuru. The food is very good, I really enjoyed the injera with mixed sauces. And it's really very cheap. The terrace area is a nice place to eat. The service is mixed, but adequate. This place is great value for money.

Description
Kokeb Restaurant is a peaceful oasis offering not only authentic Ethiopian cuisine in a casual atmosphere, but also Italian and Kenyan food. You can eat indoors, but I always enjoy eating in their shaded eating area outside. Beautiful, and a must for any stopovers through the Rift Valley.
