Juan is charming and a fantastic chef. His skills shine through with every plate. Loved his grilled shrimp, went twice and had the same dish! Lovely hidden place across the bridge. I will make it part of my Puerto Vallarta experience every time I go.

Another well recommended place and was worth the effort. Across a small foot bridge and up stairs hidden in the jungle foliage. It can be found down the side road of the private hotel but public beach access road. On the left and look for the signs. everything is fresh caught. probably the best red Snapper I have ever eaten.... More

We happened by the bridge over the river which leads to Juan's Place and decided to check it out. What a find!! The day we were there a fresh caught octopus was on the menu. The garlic octopus was fantastic. The location on the river is very nice. With the surrounding vegetation it seems like you are dining in a... More

You will not be disappointed. Great food and drinks. Always fresh fish and authentic cuisine. Forget the All-Inclusive!

Always the best bet in Mismaloya and worth the trip from Puerto Vallarta. Great family atmosphere and personal service. Mahi Mahi, red snapper and octopus are exceptional. Don't forget your ice cold beer and Banana Pina Colada!

Such a lovely place! And the food! Oh, the food!! So good! The fresh snapper was delish! We will be retuning for another taste of paradise before we leave. I snuck a few bites of the octopus off my hubbys plate and might have to order my own next trip. The all inclusive resorts can't compete with the flavors of... More

I had by far the best garlic octopus. Beautiful setting in the jungle, so green right next to the river. Juan was very friendly and so accommodating. I love this hidden gem, definitely will be back before we leave.

Juan - cook, owner and bottle washer <grin> will keep the beer cold, the chips crispy, the lemonada fresh and your tummy as full as you want it. Great menu and value.

This is our second year visiting Puerto Vallarta & we have eaten at Ramada Miramar, Juan's Place many times. I've tried the Mahi Mahi as well as the shrimp brochette, both were delicious. My husband and our guests always order the Miramar shrimp special, which is bacon wrapped shrimp stuffed with cheese, yum! They are never disappointed! The atmosphere is... More

Dorado filets, lobster, wild Mexican shrimp, salsa Mexican, quesadillas and much more prepared and cooked fresh to order. Your senses relaxed with the aroma of toasting garlic and butter and a gentle sea breeze with a hint of a sprinkle of afternoon rain. Your in no rush and the gentle tide just rocks like ambient noise. You start thinking what... More
