Bit trendy restaurant, but it serves mostly locals. We went on a Saturday and it was packed. Always make a reservation. The food is OK, but too expensive.
We passed this place a few times and we finally decided to stop in. I'm sorry we waited so long. The inside is modern and elegant and the food did not disappoint. We had, among other things, a gnocchi 2nd course and a several other...dishes, one better than the next. It did not hurt to see the manager of our all time favorite Cetona restaurant there with his family on his night off. We will be sure to return on our next trip to Cetona inthe spring!More
Quirky ambiance, nice decor, very good service and excellent food. The chef is a young very talented lady who makes everything fresh with local produce. Pasta, pizza, bread, tomato ketchup, maionnaise sauces are a few examples of what is home made. We were 4 people...and all decided to have the "special" home made burger; absolutely exquisite. I wholeheartedly recommend this Bistrot. The gentleman who is front of house provided us with very good service and recommendation on wines.More
This quaint bistrot was within walking distance of our flat in Cetona, so we were able to imbibe in their delicious wine. Food was excellent, service perfect and very well priced. English spoken.
What an incredible find. We had fresh pasta (mine was a pastrignocchi with a delicious Ragu and my wife’s was a taglioline with squid ink, fresh fish, zucchini cream and crushed pistacchios.) Both were so good. My wife had grilled prawns and I had ......truly .. one of the best hamburgers ever. Freshly made mayo and ketchup, carmelized onions, cheese, and local bacon on top. The wine list was also great. We had a local red, Furiosa, well priced and delicious. Highly recommend.More
I visited this restaurant with my family in august 2017 when passing through Cetona. Although we were the only guests in the restaurant at the time (we arrived at 19h30) the food was awesome. I had the rabbit with strawberry and the cheesecake for dessert...- never had better! My wife had stuffed ravioli and my daughter enjoyed one of their famous wafer thin pizza's. Everything was immaculate. The service is also very attentive although they do not speak any English (but sign language will get you there). Highly recommended!More
The superb partnership between the owner and chef continues. My favourite range is the creative, but regional Italian dishes. They also too good pizzas and hamburgers (which are untried, but appear to be popular). It continues to be a restaurant well worth visiting.
Pizza are good. The burger was an excellent surprise. The waiters are friendly and the service is relaxed. The desserts were excellent (chocolate soufflé and ice creams with special flavours). A good place for a nice and relax dinner experience.
Went with family/friends and we loved this place. So many items to choose from and the desserts were exceptional as well as our waiter.
We wanted a to find a good mid range place to grab a quick dinner!! This place was good and have good space and friendly service! The pizzas were great!
delicious options and an entire page of vegan food, great desserts. one of the best meals of our entire trip
Very friendly environment with some very interesting menu choices: lentil soup on a plate with honey-saffron gelato on top? Each of us had a different main course: papardalle with wild pork, ravioli with wild duck and truffles, and...something else that was delicious but had a...complicated spelling. An easy walk up from the town square and a relaxing place to eat good food!More
All in all a very average meal. The pizza's were a little too thin so were very burnt. We ordered a portion of chips which never arrived. The service was very very slow and less than impressive. The salted caramel dessert was the best part!!
A creative Italian chef at work in the kitchen generating superb food and a front room run by someone who cares about what you like and wants you to have the best meal possible. Can't really go too wrong with that kind of a team....Our host (who soon felt like our best friend) suggested we try a mix of things and so we did. My husband and I shared a sequence of delicious dishes starting with an impossibly delicious and light polenta tower topped with melting cheese and truffle, next a plate of of pastrignocchi with cavolo romano, artichoke and pancetta followed by a roasted honey glazed poussin stuffed with chestnuts and pistachios. All washed down with an excellent red wine recommended by our charming maitre d'. We didn't make it dessert but opted instead for coffee and amaro - which was a brilliant idea. Our wonderful host is quite an amaro expert and soon had us sampling things we would have never known existed without his guidance. The wonderful amari were then pronounced to be on the house. I truly cannot wait to go back.More
