We ate here twice during our week in Cetona. The food is fresh, Tuscan fare served by people who care about what they are doing. The pasta is light as a feather. The grilled rabbit was tender and served with perfectly toasted potatoes. The house wines were excellent and they had fresh berries for dessert. The whole experience of dining... More

One of the best carbonara i've eaten in Italia! Also very very tasty pici al ragù battuto a mano! Nilo is very nice and friendly! Not only comes to see how the clients are feeling but also gives you a liitle insight on the recipes! Must visit!

This had been a favourite restaurant. The last time there, service was slow and the second plates / main meal were badly prepared to the extent that no one was satisfied. In the summer months Nilo adds tables outside. With the additional tables and more people, the service and quality became forgettable.

Clean white room, excellent food, pleasant service. Tremendously good local wine available. Go here expecting a traditional meal in traditional surroundings: this is very old world, but they do things properly. The filet of beef was incredibly tender. The creme caramel was one of the best ever.

My family and I (8 of us) went to Nilo for dinner on our last night in Tuscany. The fresh pasta, veal, and all courses were delightful. The staff was very welcoming

We have a farm in Citta della Peive, Umbria and often visit Cetona for lunch. This restaurant is authentic and elegant and one of our favorites in the area. Lovely decor and always excellent food. Go and enjoy!

We ate outside on the terrace in the main square of this lovely hill town. Excellent pasta dishes with porcini or ragu followed by delicious home made ice cream. Mid priced, good quality.

This restaurant is one of the handful in the center of Cetona. Some tables overlook the square but on the Sunday night we went you needed a reservation for one. But they easily sat us in the little garden in the back. We ate a range of pastas, soup and salads. Some things were really delicious and some were just... More

This place is just great to dine and have a nice wine. We stayed 4 weeks in Cetona and went to Nilo very often. It is just a great place and waiter are very kind. His food is a true Tuscan experience you can't miss! Don't forget the dolci and gelato!
