Have been coming here for years and always thought it was first rate. But tried it recently for a couple of takeaways (pizza, lasagne) and was disappointed - pizza nondescript, lasagne stale and uninviting. Definitely pricey for the quality. Maybe just a bad day. I'll try again but no ticks for this night's effort.

Good interior and excellent service, however for us the pizza flavours were lacking some of the expected earthy tones of it's originators from middle Italia and surrounds. For some, the almost eccentric nature of flavours offered will be too much . . as it was for us . . yet for those who are not attached to the well known... More

Wow, didn't have high expectations but these pizzas are amazing! A little bit pricey but well worth it.

I have not yet eaten in, but take-away pizzas are the best in Ivanhoe. Base is chewy, toppings carefully prepared and of high quality

Well this was a good chance find! The pizza is very nice, good crusts, good ingredients, and a decent range of choices, including a number of dessert pizzas. Service was good, friendly and bustling. The prices were surprisingly reasonable

Went here on a weekday night just after Christmas with a small family group of three. There was a busy atmosphere even though the restaurant wasn't full. The staff appeared to be under a bit of pressure. We ordered three pizzas. They took a while to come out and when they did there were only two. The last one, a... More

I went here for dinner with friends. Had the lamb pizza and nutella calzone. They honestly were one of the best pizzas I've ever had. Will definitely return.

Had a Christmas get together with friends. Overall the restaurant was good. Great choice if pizzas. Pasta and other menu items were also good. The food we ordered was enjoyable apart from my wife's. She ordered lasagna. It came out burned and dry. Tasted of burnt cheese and basically inedible. Brought this to the waiters attention and apart from a... More

Friendly and efficient staff. Great range of pizzas and pastas. Served promptly. Liked the bathrooms upstairs and downstairs. Only minus -- very noisy and tables uneven on floor. Will be back.

I was pleasantly surprised by the pizzas here. They were full of flavour and the dough was cooked really well. The service was a tad bit slow on the pizzas but wasn't too bad as the entree portions were generous and kept us content until the pizzas arrived Will definitely come back again
