Not a nice fancy place, but if you want to eat great tasty seafood, this is the place. Wood burning grill, fresh oysters and really not expensive. Safe free parking across the street, just give the man at the entrance of the parking lot a tip once you leave.

It's not a nice place, very local and simple but the food is amazing! I had octopus on some home sauce which was absolutely delicious! They have plenty food options that I would like to try one day.

I've visited many "fancy" seafood restaurants in Guadalajara. This modest place is better than all of them, and for half the price. The Zarandeado fish and shrimps are their specialty. The only place I've had a better one was in another modest place at Puerto Vallarta.

The Zarandeado is good when it comes to their seafood. The food is tasty, waiters are nice and always helpful. We tried the zarandeado fish there and it was one of the best we have tasted. Parking is located on a separate lot across the street. The building of the Zarandeado is ugly, it comes from what used to be... More

Finding perfect wood-grilled fresh fish on the Mexico mainland in two different neighborhood restaurants in the same week is a real pleasure! Both are in Guadalajara, about four hours from the Pacific Ocean, where the fresh catch is delivered daily to the Mercado del Mar in the Zapopan section. One of the restaurants, El Zanadeao, is in the more modern... More

This place is simply and plain a good seafood restaurant. Not the most fancy and beautiful place, but more of a local outfit with really amazing coal fire-grilled shrimp and octopus. This is a real hidden gem.

Very good, grilled "zarendeado" style grilled seafood, but the shrimp are the main specialty. We went here on a Sunday and if you go on the weekend be sure to gets there "early" for lunch around 12:00 or so because the place gets packed around 2-3 and you'll have a long wait.
