We enjoyed a lovely pub bar meal here during our stay in warkworth. Nice friendly pub with a welcoming atmosphere. Our dogs were welcomed with biscuits so it gets a thumbs up from them! The food was decent pub grub at reasonable prices and we enjoyed a nice relaxing evening.

We pre booked a table as the carvery is only served from 12 until 2pm. The food was lovely. Plenty of meat put on your plate then help yourself to veg and huge yorkies. A gravy boat was brought to our table. Very reasonable and a friendly, warm atmosphere awaits.

The pub itself is nice and reasonably atmospheric although it is a Jennings tied house so beers on offer are restricted to theirs and the parent company Marston's. The serving staff were friendly enough although service was decidedly slow. The food is standard pub grub - nothing to get excited about and the desserts are obviously "bought in" as one... More

New management and new life which was needed - So we park in the village and took 2 minutes to walk into the warm pub. Lovely greeting from the landlord and a member of staff showed us to a table next to the fish tank (sooth watching). There was so much to view in the menu and the curry just... More

Walk in and turn left for the bar and seating, turn right if you have a dog! Avoid upstairs unless its nice and busy as atmosphere can be a little lacking. Had a lovely pub supper here, scallops a little over cooked but food generally very good and would definitely re visit.

We stopped for a sandwich on the way to Alnmouth. It was a busy Saturday lunchtime. Sandwiches were lovely, really nice bread, with loads of home cooked ham in, salad garnish and homemade coleslaw. We shared a portion of chips and onion rings with them. Warm welcome too and dog friendly.

We were staying in Warkworth for a couple of nights, so tried this pub for our evening meal on the first night. The pub has a good selection on the menu and the staff are friendly, polite and welcoming. We both had the Rabbit Pie served with either mashed potato or chips, and vegetables. We both enjoyed our meal and would... More
