We made a tour through the center of the island exploring the volcano. We came in this lovely village. This bakery offers the most delicious sweets and pastries. Highly recommended to make a short stop and taste all the delicious products.

Delicious selection of local cakes & biscuits. To be accompanied by a decent cup of coffee. Not to be missed if you visit the magical Tejada!

The dulceria has a fabulous selection of cakes and we duly took advantage; it seemed rude not to. Having made our selection (in hindsight size seemed to be a major criteria behind our choice) we were absolutely amazed to be only paying 3 euros for...3 lovely cakes. No surprise that they tasted as good as they looked! Only avoid if you are not into almonds.More

I was very surprised by this patisserie bakery. Probably 50 different cakes and pastries on sale. I had two quite large cakes for just one euro each. I didnt notice anything really very fancy (as in things like fruit topped cheesecakes or similar), and most...cakes were pretty carbohydrate heavy (meaning quite a high pastry or cake content), but you just cannot knock the price or general value. Really good.More

We stopped by to pick up a dessert after lunch. The place had a wide array of tastings and boasts that it has been in business 70 years! Server rushed to hand us dessert before asking all the items we wanted and asking whether they...were to eat right a way or take a way. Other than that a 5 star experience!More

We walked by at 5 pm on a Friday afternoon and the line was out the door. We saw locals carrying out huge orders of bakery goods. We decided to see what the fuss was about so we went inside and took a number. Because...of the crowds, we contemplated not staying, but perhaps 15 minutes later we were served. There were an abundant of sweet bakery options. We opted for several types of cookies and they were excellent. The prices were ridiculously low. English is not spoken, but pointing worked.More

The sweet shop attracts crowds of customers on a week-end and serves all sorts of amazing almond cookies, cakes and just almonds. The cakes have a very light feel to them, good coffee.

Recommend the huge almond meringues and Bienmesabe, an almond paste. The latter makes a good souvenir / present.
