Always stop by The Mussel Pot on my way to Nelson. The mussels are quite large and cooked just right. Certainly worth a stop.

We had read about the Mussel Pot so stopped in Havelock for dinner on our way through. We were not disappointed! The mussels, cooked in various ways, were delicious, the portions were generous, the service friendly and prompt, and the outside patio was lovely.
