BangkokJoined in Mar 2010Hi, Fred Tibbitts, Jr., here. I just reviewed my Albany, NY hotel and the restaurants I visited. I was born in Albany, so I like returning twice annually in March and November, but I am now retired to Bangkok, Thailand, where I manage a charity for very poor families in Cambodia and Thailand, so the only tag that applies to me is 70+. I never travel on holidays or luxuriate, so I only travel to our annual charity dinners from Bangalore, India to Beijing, China, plus NYC Spring and Fall, which is how I am able to continue the short distance to Albany semi-annually to see my doctors, family, and friends.
I worked in NYC for 28 years to find fame and fortune: Now, having given everything away years ago to those less fortunate, I work without a salary to serve the poor of Asia, relying solely on my monthly Social Security and small monthly pension deposits to get by. And while now financially poorer than ever before, I am happier than ever before.
