I travel mostly with my husband who is paralyzed, so when we chose a destination, accessibility is an issue in other countries.since we travel with extra equipment for my husband, we usually stay 2+ weeks. We make sure that the Eco lodge or fishing lodge has adequate staff to assist us, which usually means alot of money.most fly fishing destinations are beautiful and we try our best to try local foods and see the historical& interests of the area. We salt and fresh water fish, and I usually spin fish.we have camped across the country in an rv a few times. I hurt my back recently and wear a back brace, but even that didn't hinder the wonderful 2 weeks in Honduras .sailfish, bonefish, snook, tarpon, snappers, jacks, cudas, tuna, plenty of fish, and never any people. We'dvgo all day and see no one but an occasional local trolling the mangroves with the line in his teeth.I liked the snorkeling, but Belize was better .I like lodges , meeting and eating with other guests, and drinking wine.
