This ‘Queen’s Necklace’ is a beautiful drive along the coast of South Mumbai stretching from Nariman Point in the south to Malabar Hill in the north. The sea-facing promenade offers a favourite break time for Mumbai locals – college students, families, couples, tea & coffee vendors, foot and head massagers and photographers often flock to gossip or just gaze at the skyline. The views during the monsoons (June till September) are particularly breathtaking. Studded with Chowpatty Beach for its lip-smacking street food, Bachelor’s for its unique ice creams and India’s oldest aquarium, at night the streetlights along this drive enhance the dramatic arch of the bay.
The new look stadium is quite modern. The seats are quite vertical so its a bit challenging descending with say a Pepsi in one hand and a popcorn in another. One feels very close to the action. There are plenty of convenient AC boxes if u can get tickets ..costly. they serve food snacks and beer

"Modern busy station"
reviewed 3 days ago by Alanthebairn
Churchgate is the Terminus for the Western Railway and is a busy busy place. Tickets are easiest purchased at the booking office.
From Churchgate there are regular trains which away from peak evening departures are fairly quiet and you can often get a window seat.
Ticket prices are cheap 10 pence from Churchgate to Bandra an hours journey.
Famous landmark in Fort area. You get to experience the pulse of Mumbai if you just stand at this junction during office time.
You can't get into the fenced enclosure but walk around it.
View in the nighttime is better as its all lit up nicely.
"Oldest, unique and delicious flavours of Ice creams!"
reviewed 8 October 2018 by foodaastiic
This place serves ice cream slabs sandwiched between wafer biscuits. You can choose from a wide range of flavours. Opt for the seasonal ones which are very nice! creamy, delicious and the fun while having it :)
It is always buzzing with people... the oldest place serving ice creams in South Bombay!
We had dinner at the Samrat. Food was good (only Veg); service also good (at times, too good where they want to serve you more than you want :))
Overall, I would recommend this restaurant.
BTW - only few foreigners (it was only us and one more), but no need to worry, they speak English and there was no problem.
Relish is an old favorite of ours. Many a times when we cannot agree upon any one particular type of food to have, we head for Relish. It has multiple types of Veg. cuisine under one roof. You may have Chinese, Lebanese, Mexican, Indonesian, American and Indian veg food here.
We really like the Sizzlers and Cooler drinks here. Some...

If you have an Office in Churchgate or Marine Drive area of Mumbai or if you are visiting for a meeting, this place is worth visiting for Lunch / Evening Snack / Dinner. Your Clients / Business partners would love it. You will be lucky if you can be accommodated as you arrive because the place is super busy. The...
Excellent recommendation of Tour guide.
Trip to the slums is highly recommended
trip to Bollywood and City Tour.
His choice of guide was a true positive experience in seeing India in a completely different light. Very Positiv safe and clean. Made our stay very worthwhile.
The marine plaza hotel is not as posh as the Taj or the Oberoi, but is a comfortable hotel with a nice tasteful lobby. It is also more modestly priced compared to the Taj or the Oberoi. It overlooks the Arabian sea and has two excellent restaurants: The Bay View and the Oriental Blossom. They also have an excellent patissiere...
Good location – a few minutes away from Churchgate which is a major train station. You are also a stone throw away from the Marine Drive promenade where you can have a walk in the evening if adjacent noisy traffic doesn’t bother you.
The one thing letting this hotel down is its breakfast in the room. They take orders on...
Small hotel in an old building conveniently located close to the Marine Drive, Churchgate station, India gate and numerous other places to see. Plenty of shops, restaurants and bars within walking distance or a short taxi ride (plenty available outside the hotel). Note the hotel itself does not have a bar.
The hotel is very clean and the staff helpful...
NIce rooms at a very good location. The Hotel is a bit old but the rooms and service is very good. The tariff is also reasonable compared to other hotels in the vicinity. It a good 4 star hotel. The service was efficient.
