Haneda / Kamata is known for its airport with many hotels popping up with the increase in international flights. It’s also an area that offers many shrines and temples with ancient origins including Anamori Inari Shrine or Ikegami Honmonji temple which is visited by more than 300,000 people in October's Buddhist Oeshiki festival. The area around Kamata station is lined with restaurants and is lively until late at night. In particular, it’s known for the large collection of tasty gyoza specialists.
To the seasoned traveler. this will not be news, but to the rookie, it could be a life saver. From San Francisco (SFO) to Tokyo (Haneda), Japan Air Lines (JAL) flies a 777-300 ER. That ER means there is EXTRA leg room. The flight is 11 hours and that extra 3 inches soon becomes a blessing. Plus, they have nice...
It is a little far from the station, where I am climbing a slope, and this season I can enjoy the harsh atmosphere while listening to the sound of wind chimes. If you arrive at Haneda Airport, please do come over. I feel the atmosphere of Japan and I recommend it because there are few people. Hatsumode is full...
When visiting Japan it has become my own personal tradition to enjoy Udon noodle soup at this restaurant. I highly recommend to try it out. Their menu has a vast array of dishes to suit anyone's taste if you are into heart warming noodle soups :))
I ordered the hot and sour Udon special...omg so slurpalicious!!!!
Ok, we happened to be staying at Kamata area (pit-stop before Haneda airport) and TA's reviews led us to this restaurant. Personally, I would not want my last meal in Japan to be this eatery. Did I write eatery? Yes, it is an eatery, not a restaurant. Catered to the working crowds in the area, especially after work. It's very...
Excellent location, right in the terminal. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was pleasant. Rooms quite small and quite brightly lit, so not much ambience - but it's an airport hotel I guess. Clean, and so that's the most important thing
We used this as our overnight base before an early flight out of Haneda. The hotel is situated in the domestic terminal and directly accessible by train on foot from the station via half a dozen escalators and some walking. If coming from the train bear in mind that the train line does not take Japan Rail Pass so payment...
I chose to stay in this hotel on arrival into Haneda as we were landing late and I did not fancy travelling into Tokyo at that time.
The only issue we had was working out where to find the shuttle service.
After travelling round the airport terminals to find the hotels transfer bus, we arrived in the hotel in good...
Need a clean modern, no fuss hotel close to Henada airport, you've found it. Polite and welcoming staff and nice restaurant and breakfast.
Rooms modern size limited, but hey this is Japan, great for 1or 2 days
Very convenient and good value.
The room is worth the price. The hotel is very well situated (next to subway stations). The hotel is neat and the room was clean and quiet. The staff was very kind and friendly. We didn't have dinner or breakfast in the hotel thus it is difficult to judge on this.
