Home of the small bar revolution in Sydney, Darlinghurst has more bars per capita than any other suburb. Themes range from American whiskey bars and 1950’s theme bars to hidden bars requiring secret passwords. Oxford Street is the "Gay Capital" of Australia, where gay and lesbian-friendly venues feature “diva shows” and dancing until the morning. Vintage lovers flock to Crown Street, and small designer boutiques can be found along Victoria and Bourke Streets. Dining in Darlinghurst is a gastronomic adventure. Food from all over the world is on the menu, from American ribs to tapas, sushi to gelato and every ethnicity in between.
Visited here on their open day 2/09/2017.
The school has formal degree courses and career courses but also a range of short courses for all. There are pottery/ ceramics, painting, drawing and sculpture plus photo media and more...check out their great website.
There is an archive and exhibition of the site including the works of some of sydney's great artists...
Specialist ceramics galleries are few and far between, so anyone interested in ceramic art should look in at Mansfield Gallery. It is a small gallery space in the inner city suburb of Darlinghurst, on Darlinghurst Road. You can walk to it from Oxford Street or from Kings Cross, and the 311 bus from Railway Square stops directly outside it.
I Scream... You Scream... everybody scream...ICE CREAM... It was like kids in a candy store with so many varieties of Gelato that making a choice was difficult. After a few different cones of heaven, I still had to go back for the Blood Orange to quench my thirst. We then departed with their Coconut Lychee, Creamy Chocolate Gelato and Momofukup...
A simply amazing visit to Malabar! Everything from the service, to the food options, to the taste and price were ideal!
We enjoyed our visit greatly and will definitely eat here again.
We opted for the set menu which is $47pp and I cannot fault. Highly recommended. Great variety and high quality food that you can take away if you...
We had dinner here and had a good evening in this nice looking Italian restaurant. The bread to start with is a bit to much herbs and the olive oil is spicy (peppers in it) so you loose taste. Starters and mains are good quality and fresh! Pasta's are hand made and very tasty. Wines are okay but in Italy...
What a night! Great company and awesome tucker. We couldn’t decide on wine so, cocktails it is.
The sets help a lot saving us time having to make decisions. This allows us more time to chat. The food came to us well timed and on beautiful plates.
The service is fabulous. They make you feel important and special even though...
We visited the Pullman HP for 3 nights at the end of our trip to Australia, we chose this hotel over the Pullman Grand Quay, where we spent our first 2 nights as half the price.
We checked in online so our room key was waiting for us when we arrived at 1300 which was good, the check out was...
Great spot. Clean tidy and beds where great. We had done a harbour cruise leaving from Rushcutters Bay so really handy.
Just need to improve the checkin and checkout process.
Bar also needs improve on expresso martini’s! Not the best! 😬
Stayed at Sydney Boutique Hotel for one night in early December. Staff was very kind and helpful, they are in a very busy district so they have an arrangement with a car park nearby, was just a 3 min walk so not too bad.
My room was very clean, minibar full stocked and hotel is brand new.
Wifi signal was...
"Lovely hotel, brilliant customer service from receptionist Luke"

Arrived at 9:30 in the morning after flight from UK - receptionist was very helpful with local knowledge & we got our room by 10:30. Room was good. Location is good - you can walk to central Sydney & there's plenty of nearby restaurants & cafe's - & a pub just across the road.
Living and kitchen room were nice and large - both bedrooms were small and the decor was tired and power points quite old and dodgy. The bathroom was a joke. So small and really substandard walls/painting etc. Not worth the $$$$.
