If you love having a drink by the sea right on the beach (and who doesn’t?) Hornstull & Långholmen should be on top of your list. The area was recently redeveloped and now not only offers artsy bars and edgy restaurants but also a post-modern shopping mall complex for urban retail therapy. Hornstull belongs to the more established and sophisticated neighborhoods in Stockholm and is the typical place where you’ll find Swedish dads meeting for a latte during their paternal leave, or where local office workers meet up at the art cinema for a drink or a movie after work. The beaches in Hornstull and Långholmen are popular destinations for barbeques and sunbathing during the summer. Bring sunscreen.
My girlfriend and I were looking for a more adventurous type of activity to do with a friend so we signed up for the liljeholmen kajak beginners guide/tour (4hrs total).
All in all the experience was great from beginning to end. Peter was the perfect guide, balancing the different physical abilities of the group's individuals while showing and providing context...

"Good food but quite noisy"
reviewed 8 October 2017 by KLF95
We were here on a Friday night. Didn't reserve, and were still seated fairly quickly. The food was good, and for a capital city it seemed reasonably priced (not inexpensive). We didn't order wine though: they had an extensive and I'm sure amazing wine list, but not in our budget. The waiter did seem less helpful once he realized we...
A modest place, not fancy but their dishes are delicious. Really well taken care of, quality ingrediënts and the staff is very nice too. You choose the dishes you want to eat or share and they all come pretty fast and in nice portions. You wouldn't tell from the outside or the interior, but well worth a visit!
Simple but tasty mediterranean food. Really good cocktails. Some good wines at fair prices. It wount blow you away with its food, service or interiore but its perfect for a casual dinner with friends. It can get very loud, thou. Slightly arrogant service but somehow in a charming way... the mediterranean way i guess ;)

"True Austrian Food and Beverages"
reviewed 8 February 2018 by Herwig S
As Austrian living in Sweden this was ther first time I have experienced real authentic Austrian food and drinks in Stockholm or let me expand the experience to Sweden. Excellent taste, big portions as Austrians like, good service, fair prices, the only improvement area is that both the lists of food and beverages are quite short. But rather short and...
We stayed here 2 nights following a cruise. The hotel is situated about a mile walking distance to Gamla Stan (Stockholm old town and palace). Nice safe walk to get there. There is also a metro stop close by.
Hotel is quaint and clean. Rooms are extremely small so don’t be misled by photos. We were shocked when opening the...
This is a former prison and we had a room with bunkbeds. So you should know this. Maybe there are dubble beds as well. Alle quality bedding and very clean bathroom as well. Small room though. Nice breakfast included. Quiet area, with public transport in less then 15 minutes in the centre of town, everything very straight forward.
We stayed at the hotel this time, last time it was the hostel. Both are nice and clean, good rooms. Very comfortable beds and also a very nice breakfast. We had an extra bed for a small child. Therefore we really missed that there was no Tea and coffemaking facilities in our room- we could have used the kettle for...
