Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
"Was lucky enough to have seen Von karajan once many years ago"

For me the best Philarmonic building I have seen as it is really old but has a unique appearance. Next to this building is the Staats- Bibliothek which desevres my biggest respect as I spent lot of time there for my studies!
The richness of the collection is fantastic. So many famous painters: Brueghel, Rembrandt, Holbein, Carpaccio, Boticelli, Cranach, Rafaello, it is impossible to quote them all. This museum is far less crowded than the Pergamon museum.
"Off the main tourist track but well worth a visit"

Not far from the Tiergarten and Reichstaag, but less well known than the usual Berlin tourist sites. This is a fascinating and moving memorial to those who attempted to resist Nazi rule, most particularly Claus von Stauffenberg, who tried to kill Hitler with a bomb in a briefcase, but sadly failed and was shot in the courtyard of the memorial...
This is a wonderful museum featuring the work of an important and wonderful artist. You will see her sculptures around the city in various parks and monuments. Here you can see her drawings, etchings and woodcuts close We we loved it.
This place has excellent service, they make you feel home. Great atmosphere. Really delicious food. We tried the mussels as an entree and shared a seafood paella for two. Everything was amazing. Definitely recommended!
The FACIL is definitely one of the top restaurants in Berlin. My sister is vegetarian and they created a menu for her that I can only describe as outstanding, the very creative kitchen crew as well as the attentive service. We loved the golden plates that gave the dishes a polished finish.
Normally in my view, hotel bars are somewhere to quickly have a beer whilst working out where to head for a decent atmosphere, or somewhere for a quick nightcap before heading up to bed. The Ritz Carlton is a great hotel anyway so there is no reason it wouldn't have a great bar - and it certainly does. Located off...
First and foremost Max and Max made our trip from their advise to their kindness we would not have had the time we had without them. The hotel is classic and first rate we were able to get a reasonable upgrade with a balcony and lavished in the lap of luxury for a very reasonable price. The neighborhood is cool...
Beautiful hotel. Great location on the park. Very good food. Nice garden to eat/ drink. Very pleasant staff. Bike rentals on premises, Berlin is a super bike-friendly city. Hotel is modern and classic. Very nice neighborhood. Get the breakfast.

We were staying at the hotel Q! and immediately felt home in the room, the hotel location is excellent for exploring the city, in the area around the hotel there are some nice places to have breakfast and/or lunch and the famous Ku-dam is just 100m away. Staff was very friendly and the Thai food we had for room service...
This hotel boasts well equipped rooms and bathrooms, with fine wi fi. The location is 20 minutes from Tegal airport and steps from the U Bahn. The breakfast room, Facil, is excellent. The staff is friendly and attentive. The prices are fair for the value received
This is such a quirky hotel. Loads of fun, and a breath of fresh air. I loved my stay, it's more than a hotel, it's an experience right from the cool elevators the minute you arrive, to the jungle themed check in area and helpful team...
the staff are amazing!!!
The room, comfortable and loved the fun touches!
