The beating heart of the city lies within Centro Histórico, the vast expanse of historical buildings and monuments that are a must when exploring Mexico City. Places such as the Museo Biblioteca Palacio Postal, Casa de los Azulejos and Palacio de Bellas Artes are the perfect eye candy for anyone seeking to admire arts and architecture. Don't forget to visit the wide variety of markets and plazas where any vintage item, handicrafts and jewelry characteristic of each state in Mexico can be found on Sundays. Admire majestic views of the city from the Monumento a la Revolución and Torre Latinoamericana, and round out the experience with restaurants of all cuisines nearby.
This has been one of my favorite places every time I visit Mexico city. It is not very popular, but truly an amazing place. There are three floors of the building that are covered in murals by Diego Rivera. It's crazy how much he painted in the amount of time he did. Although it is located a ways off of...
We went here because we didn't realize the museums were closed on a Sunday. This was a great way to spend time looking at shops, eating good food and seeing the sites. You are really close to a hop on and hop off bus stop. Also, there are several tourist stands that can help you with any questions.
Historic Walking Areas, Points of Interest & Landmarks

we came here to see this square because from the James Bond movie, it was couple weeks ago, very bright sunny noon, when we were walking around the Zocalo Square, it was unbelievable huge, so many people, and the most incredible things was they got the ice skating in the middle of the Square. great experience
I’ve eaten many times in their restaurant in Hilton on The Alameda and have never been disappointed. This was our first time in the original location. It was a very pleasant surprise to step out of MUNAL, the national art museum and to see El Cardenal next door...particularly since we were all very hungry.

My party of 6 and I shared three insect appetizers (the one with grasshopper, the one with beetle, and the one with the ant larvae). The grasshopper one had a great tableside preparation. The beetles were good by themselves (taste like chicharron) but not so much with the cake that it comes with. The ant larvae was so-so, kinda tastes...

Not a five star hotel by International standards, but I'm giving it 5 stars for what I like. Unbelievable service, and they're not expecting tips for it either. For example, one of the staff saw that I was looking at the old elevators with interest, so he came over and showed me how it works and took me up and...
We spent 6 nights at this hotel.
This hotel, almost has it all - position, service, good rooms, great service, good value for a central hotel and a great complimentary cafe!
The location is perfect for the historical area of Mexico city - literally a 5 minute walk to he Zocalo and also 5 min to the nearest Metro station....
This is a very nice hotel in a perfect location at Zocalo next to the Metropolitan Cathedral, ideally for those interested in the historic center. Lots of places to explore, shopping and eating.
The room is small but very nice and clean. Free Bottled water and apples are available on the floor. All the staff are friendly and helpful, even...
The room was very clean and the room service did a fantastic job as well. The staff understood english and was really helpful. Furthermore, the breakfast was good. If you order a taxi from the reception you get a good price and some special deals for tours around mexico city. Overall I am very satisfied with my stay in the...

They pretty much did everything right. Helped us with our luggage as we got dropped off on the busy street at the entrance. Friendly and fast check in. Nice room, on a higher floor per my wishes. Unbelievable central location close to Zocalo. Great service, nice complimentary breakfast, beautiful atrium lobby.
