I had visited the Caves over 30 years ago and it was time to return. We booked through the Tourist Office and paid on arrival. Staff were all quite young and were so friendly and helpful. Glad we booked ahead as it was busy. Our guide, another charming girl (Claire, I think) took us down to the entrance and gave us lots of useful information along the entire trip. We started with a short boat ride which was so pleasant. One child in our group was afraid and another guide helped encourage her and to sit between her parents. She managed really well. Caves are amazing and beautiful. Nature is so wonderful and it was a treat to see first hand the many formations of boulders and staligmites and staligmites, and much more. The 154 steps back up again was a bit challenging for us Seniors but we took our time and made it to the end!

We booked online but when we turned up the weather was so bad the staff informed us that it would be a shortened version of the experience. We were given a partial refund without asking which was a pleasant surprise. The tour starts outside and then descends down some steps to the cave, 150 in total. At the bottom it’s well paved and level and the path follows alongside the river. The rock formations are fantastic but what makes it are the guides. Our guide was so informative and obviously proud of the caves and it made the tour really interesting and informative. He also factored in time for us to stop along the way and take pictures which isn’t always considered on guided tours and was much appreciated because I’m not sure my words can adequately describe the amazing feeling of being in the caves.

A fabulous experience descending into the cave and hearing the rushing water gushing through the middle. Our guide had a wealth of knowledge and kept the group moving through the cave. There are some stunning sights which photos don't do justice. After 1 & 1/2 hours we returned to the surface , there is a cafe for a quick bite or a coffee , a gift shop , plenty of interesting artifacts and a theatre room showing a film of the local area . Well worth the trip.

This is a place of outstanding natural beauty. From the surroundings to the cave. The staff at the centre were really pleasant and knowledgeable. The visitor building has nice displays on the geology of the area which are easy enough to understand. there is also a video of the area's history. The cave tour itself was very interesting, we walked along the cave first and the guide showed us the many interesting features on the return. there are many formations all around and there is quite a big river flowing through, something I haven't seen in any other. The tour didn't feel rushed either. I must go back to try get the boat trio as it wasn't offered due to high water levels in the cave.

This was a terrific fun and informative tour. The guide (Victor) was funny and very knowledgeable. He gave us so much info in such a short time without seeming forced or too touristy. He hit a perfect balance - and he’s a great whistler too!

I would recommend a visit to the caves. The rock formations are amazing. The guide, unfortunately I cannot remember her name , a young lady, was very informative. I would suggest you wear warm clothing. Also there are 152 steps leading down into the caves, but there are also steps leading to different levels in the cave, it was manageable but just to make you aware if you have any mobility problems. Unfortunately we were not able to do the boat ride on the day we attended. The tour took about an hour. There is a cafe and shop there was also interesting facts /information around the visitors centre.

Fantastic educational and visual experience for all the family. Our guide Finn was knowledgeable, friendly and patient (I was snap happy over all the formations and there was no sense of pressure to hurry along) we were very fortunate to be in a small group and unaffected by the potential to be at the back of a larger group and miss out on key information due the noise of water flow. The visitor centre is fantastic-bright and well laid out with plenty of information about the cave system, it's discovery and the surrounding areas of interest

Great experience and wonderful tour guide. Victor was our guide who was extremely knowledgeable and gave us plenty of time to see everything. He even produced a birthday banner when I told him it was my birthday. I would highly recommend visiting the Marble Arch caves.

AUSTRALIA 🦘🇦🇺 My mother & I were lucky enough with the weather to get the full experience with the boat tour also. We had a great time with Victor as our guide, he has a wealth of knowledge of the caves themselves and the surrounding area. He’s also a great whistler! We would definitely recommend a tour if you’re in the area. Cheers, Jordy & Rhonda

Myself and my girlfriend visited Marble Arch caves today as a random last minute visit, we were due to do the boardwalk but the weather was against us. We drove to the caves, had a lovely chat with the girl on the desk who gave a discount as the cave was partially closed. We were given a guided tour by an absolute gentleman called Victor, he was a fountain of knowledge and it was a pleasure to have Victor as a guide. Absolute legend of the caves and a funny, friendly chap. Will definitely recommend couples, family’s . Brilliant trip to do (and try and get victor as a guide)
